Riad Amana is a wonderful place which is a mix of all Essaouiras mysteries. It is a great palace and a charming private residence in the same time. This riad will guarantee a fabulous stay between West and Andalusia, between West and East.
You will stay in one of the 5 suites and 2 rooms of the riad; Each one has been decorated with care, mixing the charm of Moroccan traditions and a very modern style, which produces a very special atmosphere that you are going to love.
Riad Amana is located in the heart of the medina, next to the main shopping street, and just 5 minutes from the beach. It is the ideal starting point to go and discover the old city and the way people live there.

We stayed here for 7 nights at the end of April 2013 in the Paprika room which was lovely - beautifully decorated, very spacious, huge bed, very clean, ample space to hang clothes, hot shower, 2 sinks. The staff were very professional and Fatima, the hostess is fantastic with a great sense of warmth and humour, the riad felt like home for us. The room was cleaned promptly every day when we went out and fresh towels provided. The terrace is great-sheltered and sunny with table and chairs and s. all reviews »
Fatima was fantastic and made our stay fun. She tried very hard to speak English and wanted to make sure we were comfortable. She was also very funny! Miss her already! Room was huge and beautifully decorated with real authentic Moroccon charm.
Very friendly and helpful staff, very beautifully decorated and clean, nice breakfast. Beauiful veranda at the top floor. Very good location in the middle of the medina easy for the beach and the shopping.
Wide and beautiful room, good location near one of central streets, very
very friendly and helpful stuff.
We would have liked more variety at breakfast.
The Wifi only worked in the downstairs communal area.
Breakfast a tad basic, just bread and jam, but understandable for the price.
Accomodation is rather basic (value for money). Rooms are at various floors so expect to go up two to three ramps of stairs.
The adress on letsbookhotel.com is absolutely not correct, we cannot find
Riad until I called there. Stuff didn't speak english very good,
so I couldn't speak french I don't know how we could find
hotel ... ((.
