Sorry but don't understand the complains about the staff. Our receptionist managed 3 arrivels at the same time, stayed calm and had a private word for all of them. The ibis is nicely located to the main railway station and therefore the best option for our last stay since both airport hotels in Casa seemed to have bad reputation. Anything else: Ibis-Standard! Clean, nice room, even with balcony, silent thanks to new windows, WIFI everywhere... Nothing to complain for me and my GF, just good thi.

Hotel very good for an Ibis....beats some in Australia. Had a room with a balcony and renovated bathroom. Nice garden to stroll in and all this right beside a railway station! Also tram to the city centre passes the door and it is modern and efficient. A shame it does not connect to Hassan Mosque. We originally chose the hotel for its location: just next to Casa Voyageurs, a major train station. There is also a tramway line nearby and walking to the city center will take you about half an hour. We arrived two days after the beginning of Eid al-Adha, and our hotel was seemingly the only place in town serving spirits. So we enjoyed a beautiful dinner on the terrace with wine. It is simple but very comfortable, especially the bed was the best we Slept in Morocco. Breakfast is great, you can choose what you want to eat (it's buffet). The whole environment is clean and cozy. The best thing is that it just located at the train station, it is very convenient if you want to get the train to Airport. We suggest it to you. It is right next to the train station which was great. It is far from the medina and the mosque. But this is not a big problem, if your use the tram you can go everywhere easily.The hotel room is basic and a bit small. İts not the best hotel of Ibis but if you compare the prices in Casablanca hotels its ok... Great location if you're arriving late by train or catching an early flight - the Ibis is right beside the train station and extremely convenient. The restaurant food was fine, nothing flash but not bad either. Rooms aren't very spacious, but extremely clean with a comfortable bed. They said, they working on it to join letsbookhotel.com and other websites to order the room online and make it more available. 637 MAD per night (56 Euro) is similar to Ibis, but hotel is much much better. Anyway, if you're coming at night - it's a good enough to sleep for a few hours and wake up early to leave Casablanca. We were prepared, reading the comments here, so we did not expect too much of the staff. In the end, they were okay - rather indifferent I´d say. But the location was good if coming from/going to the airport, the room was good, the noise of the trains was minimal and there was a nice garden terrace. It is right next to the train station which was great for us because we needed to catch a flight the next day. It is pretty far from the medina and the mosque. The hotel room is basic and a bit small. The air conditioned was a bit weird, but the room temperature was ok. We were upsold a breakfast but given the location does not have much in the way of eating outlets, probably a good thing, and breakfast overlooking a nice garden very pleasant. The TV in my room was unfortunately out of service and the aircon sounded like a plane on takeoff. Other than that, everything was fine. Food but I'm an American with a different taste. Some noise coming from the street,as it's on busy street. Depending where your room is you may get the noise from the trains. Avoid ordering food from the bar (room service), not usually picky but everything we ordered from there was awful. The restaurant was slighly better but not good. Breakfast should have been included in the price for the room or of better quality. All in all: don't eat here!. Nothing to complain. Obviously it's not a 5* SPA but if you know IBIS you know what you book and you get it. May be a bit noisy if you are a light sleeper. Don't buy the overpriced breakfast. No hot food is served. It is mostly bread and cheese. One elevator worked and it was full all morning. We had to carry our luggage down the stairs. The shower sprayed over the top of the wall and soaked the bathroom. - The air conditioner barely worked and they didn't try to fix it. - Found cockroaches occasionally. We had dinner there, since there are not many restaurants around. The restaurant was supposed to open at 19h30 for dinner, we got there at 19h30 but it only opened at 20h. The food took about 1 hour to be prepared, so it was one and a half hour waiting, very upsetting. The room was noisy. Our room was not completely done when we arrived, no towels and no pillow covers, after telling the receptionist we did get towels but never got the pillow covers. Room faces tram line and can be noisy. Rooms on the roadside are very noisy with the city trains passing through every five to ten minutes starting at five in the morning to eleven in the evening. I not found any think. My room faces the tram line and can be noisy. The nearby railway runs throughout the night. A bit tired, lack of maintenance, but OK for one night. The rooms are very small and the furniture was old. Small rooms. room space a little cramped. Double room don't have bad like in hotel's advertising. When you request double room with one big bed in fact it will be two beds near together. Maybe a bit expensive. Monotonous breakfast. Nothing. we had dinner & breakfast and the food was terrible. We had to sent the dinner back as the vegetables were cold, then the fish made us sick later that night. if you want to have shower or to sleep during a day you will face the problem - there are not pillow cases and bathtowels in your room. we faced this problem several times during 5 days at this hotel. it's not worth the money you pay for night, and for the breakfest. Little bit noisy, specially rooms facing the trails and trains starting at 5:00AM. For the better comfort choose new hotel El Walid just across the square - absolutely new and the same price. The staff is indifferent to you. Bit of a shock after all those nice people in riads all over Morocco, but this is just a room in a hotel chain - what else would you expect. It was noisy because of the traffic and the trains/trams. We initially thought that the window was open that's how loud it was. But you can get some sleep after the traffic cools down. The shower door was broken in our room.
