This is my third time at Riad les Chtis D Agadir ( read my previous comments ). Didier still has lots of dirty jokes on his repertoire ( fortunately / unfortunately only in french ). Good rose wine on the terasse. But most of all extremely friendly owners and a real sense of having been in Morocco ( compared to the luxury hotels down by the beach ). Perfectaly safe and friendly neighbourhood. 1 euro for the taxi down to the beach.
all reviews » This is our first trip in Morocco and we did not have much idea where to go and what to do. The owner is very informative and willing to help! He booked some accommodations and a car for us and his recommendation were all fantastic. We are very glad that we asked his suggestions. The friendliness of the owner and personnel, taxi included. Quiet location and the friendly atmosphere and small talk and recommendations given on request. Good base to discover Agadir and come "home" to. Plain food and good wine, breakfast plentiful and fresh fare. Very welcoming and relaxing, the room was nice, lovely rooftop terrace for breakfast, the hosts are incredibly friendly, and I loved the location: a quiet street and near the Souk, lots of interesting places to eat nearby. Really excellent friendly host with lots of good information. got up especially early to make me breakfast for an early departure. really nice hostel very well decorated and maintained. Would highly recommend. the welcome and helpfulness. The friendliness and the Riad layout. Tea and coffee in the room with kettle also the fridge.There is a TV but no english speaking programmes but we do not mind. The friendly and helpful attitude of the owners, that permeated through the guests to create a feeling that we were with friends rather than 'merely' residents. Excelent customer service. After how we were told it is the only riad in Agadir - and a nice one. Really nicely decorated, respecting local traditions and the 'riad' style. Clean, comfortable, very welcoming host. Good location to visit the city, Great staff, very helpfull and friendly. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Didier, so far, only gives jokes in french. Somewhat basic, but all you need is available. Tricky to find. Needs better readind light in the room. Little cut off from tourist sector. Bedsite lights rather poor so it was difficult to read books on evenings. Nothing. Limited choice of restaurants nearby. At least one room has no window and is too small. Riads all seem to be badly soundproofed - but this room very much so. Just choose the (slightly) more expensive ones. Nothing, every thing was fine. Make sure to get good directions before you leave ( Didier the owner will help you ), or just ask for " le commiseriat de police " since the Riad is located next to the main police station in Agadir.
