I found the people were very friendly and I felt I received good value for my money. Having bikes for free use was a definite plus as it is easy to get to the ruins, beach and downtown by bike. I walked to the beach which was far but a very nice walk. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and when I am in Tulum again I will pick the same spot. The Tulum ruins are a must see. It is such a great cobination of a park and ruins. Very different from other ruins. I also toured.
all reviews » The hotel has a good location (very close to the ruins, quite close to the town and also to the beach). Free bikes are great to have to move around. And we liked very much the bread at breakfast. Cosy spacious room, good air conditioning, big beds. well wroking wifi in the room. Nice outside sitting, pizza offered at the evenings. This is our second stay in 2 years, this time with our daughter and her 11 months old baby. Our beds were big and comfortable. Free bikes were useful for getting around. Very convenient to have a supermarket near by. Great coffee. Good ambiance. Relaxed atmosphere, free bikes, I liked the little courtyard in front of the rooms and the communal kitchen. The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful. The location made it easy to go downtown and shop. Free bikes, clean, safe, small place, family run and local owners. Location for someone who likes to bike is perfect, just outside the craziness of town and an easy bike to the beach, best of both wolds for me. Beds were comfortable & we easily slept with our 4 year old in a large king size double, while our teenage daughters slept in a smaller double. Midway between the town and beach, and free, well-maintained bikes so everything was handy! Huge comfy bed. Nice decor. Kitchen for use. The facility was charming and simple. The homemadr bread and jelly for breakfast was outstanding, and we LOVED the free bikes!!. Nice and clean place with a friendly atmosphere. Towels were dirty, there were some red spots on them! and everytime we came to the reception to ask for something, there was nobody, except the dog. You can NOT pay with credit card (seriously in 21st century???). The beds were hard. I had to get used to the concrete floors. I was completely happy with the hotel,ni was dissatisfied with bookings.com for charging me an extra $50 to 'include breakfast' when it comes with the standard hotel stay. On line I paid extra for this, when I got there I learned all guests get breakfast (bread, jam, coffee, juice) so bookings screwed me over on misleading me to get more and pay for it. In reality I paid more for nothing! This was not the hotels fault, but bookings. Toilet didn't flush. Breakfast not included - fine as you can use the supermarket directly opposite, but the day we paid extra for breakfast it cost the same for the one day as internet booking the breakfast for 3. Some fresh fruit at breakfast would be great, toast and coffee isn't much of a breAkfast when u can't eat bread!. mattresses are quite soft. Extra charge for air condition. No natural light in the room, breakfast is only coffee and toast. No complementary breakfast :(. Hotel doesn't take credit cards. The staff was a bit confused sometimes. A bit pricey compared to other hotels in Mexico but guess Tulum is overpriced generally!. Misquitoes. I found the room grubby and not what I expected from the photos. Management is not particularly friendly or helpful. Breakfast is toast with jam and coffee. Coffee wa sgood and they would top up. No creditcard accepted. Breakfast was poor, just coffee and toast. It is expensive compared to other hotels we stayed.
