Location - the hotel is within all the activity of Zona Romantica. Step out the door and you have a choice of many fine restaurants and are only a couple of minutes walk from the beach and pier. The low cost of the hotel makes it a real deal. The hotel is not fancy but well looked after and the staff very friendly. I would stay there again. - Location: near to the beach, public transportation and good restaurants - Pool area: Great place to relax - Staff and Service: The Staff was very helpful with booking tours and also with other recommendations - Fredy's Tucan: Breakfastrestaurant next door, absolutely delicious - Mexican Style decoration: Rooms and Gardens are mexican style.

General traffic noise wasn't bad though trucks were a bit noisy. The pillows were foam chips so weren't that comfortable. -Dated Facilities & Furniture: This Hotel has been around for quite a long time, but nevertheless the Hotel is well maintained. smoking in the courtyard so we could not enjoy it. Many of the rooms, like mine, have windows that open onto the central courtyard which means folks returning late and talking can be a drag. The quiet after 10 pm mitigates this. Depending of the room and neighbors it can get noisy at nights. Our room was an economy accommodation, but the fact that the room lacked a window we could look out of, didn't provide it with a very good feeling. When we booked I thought the total for the trip was around $450 and then when we checked out we found it was closer to $550 with all the surcharges and taxes. That could have been made clearer on the confirmation. Also, get a pool cover so the pool has a little heated water. Voices in courtyard carry. It's a bit worn. Nothing. A little bit loud if you stay near the pool. Requested 2 beds but only got 1. Mattress a bit firm. The ceiling fans could use an update. Nothing I didn't like. Absolutely nothing about this place I didn't like. Everything was great. A bit rustic but clean, good staff. Rm 305 is a nice quiet room. For the money it is amazing, given very central location to old Pv. Nada. Did not dislike anything. Took a long time to get the toilet fixed. Ants in the room, no glass in the shower window and glass "blinds" instead of solid glass in the room making the room noisy, huge blue container with dirty sheets in the middle of a beautiful courtyard all day and every day.
