Water sports such as snorkeling, scuba diving and sailing are available minutes from The Blue Pearl Apartments.

The rooms were very cozy and the cleaning was very good. And it was the
perfect distance to the beaches, and they had enough towels both for
beach use and the room. The operation was handy to help with anything we
needed, they even arranged a water dispancer to us that we could drink
water from it. All in all we were very happy with our stay at the hotel,
hotel manager spoke perfect English so there was never a problem to
understand if we needed to communicate with her. all reviews »
Blue Pearl is absolutely a perfect place to spend a couple of weeks in Playa del Carmen...apartments are very nice and spacious, in each terrace (or garden if u stay at ground floor) u have a bath tub and hammock; also, u have air conditioner, fridge and burner.
Position is perfect, very close to the beach, 5th avenue and all the night club.
In case we will back in Playa, we will stay again in Blue Pearl.

The hotel is 1 minute walk away from the beautiful Caribbean beach in Playa del Carmen. The suite we stayed at was spacious and very clean. We had our own kitchen, lounge, hot tub and hammock. The design is nice, with air conditioning in both the lounge and the bedroom. We would definitely come back to this place in the future as it gave us good value for our money.
Julio, the manager was very helpful during our stay. The area is great for the beach and 5th Avenue where all the shops and restaurants are. We had a great time and look forward to returning in the future.

The location and the friendly service and hospitality.
Close to the beach. The beach in Playa is crowded and noisy, so I would recommend going to Cozumel or driving down the coast towards Tulum.
They tried to charge different price what I got from letsbookhotel.com and
they take higher rate of pesos that what is normal. I payed total almost
1000,- nok more then I should to pay. And it's poor that they dont
delivered more then one set of keys, when it is more then one adult who
is traveling together. And there is also the disadvantage that they do
not have elevator. When traveling with lots of luggage it is heavy to
carry luggage up all of those stairs to the room.

There is a pub downstairs playing music up to four in the morning so sleeping with the windows open is not possible. However, the rooms are well insulated and with the windows closed it wasn't that loud and we could sleep good.
There are a few noisy, bars and clubs in the area but this was being sorted out with the local mayor. We had a lovely penthouse apartment, where we had no noise at all, and look forward to going back in the future.
Some kitchen essentials were not provided, e.g. paper towels, salt/pepper.
Bed a little too firm.
Wifi only works in the hotel lobby, nowhere else.
It's in the busiest nightclub part of town, so it's great if you like that sort if thing; or bad if you want to relax a bit more.
No parking and difficult to find street parking.

From Cancun airport:
Go to the taxi kiosk where you can choose between:
An airport taxi directly to your destination, with an approximate fare of 60 USD to 70 USD.
A collective van transportation where you share the vehicle which holds about 10 passengers, with people going in the same direction. There may be several stops before yours. The approximate cost is 40 USD per person.
A bus which costs approximately 7.50 USD per person. The journey takes around 50 minutes and will take you non-stop to the terminal in Playa del Carmen. It has air conditioning and TV. You will be a few blocks away from the Blue Pearl Suites.
You can also rent a car. We recommend that you book in advance via the internet; prices and availability are much better. You can enjoy Playa and its surroundings easily without a car, but it is useful to have one and create your own expeditions.
By Public Transport:
From Cozumel airport:
Take a taxi from the airport to the ferry terminal. Ferry departures to Playa del Carmen are scheduled every hour except for 11:00 and 13:00. The cost is approximately 7.50 USD per person and the journey takes around 40 minutes.
From the terminal in Playa you can take a taxi to the apartments or walk down the fifth avenue until you reach calle 10.
Make a right turn, go down one block and make a left turn.
That is 1a norte Street and the apartments are a few feet away on your left-hand side.
By Car or Taxi:
Take the motorway to Playa del Carmen in the opposite direction to Cancun.
After around 40 minutes you will be reaching Playa del Carmen.
Take a left turn at Constituyentes Street.
Go down that street towards the beach.
You will go past a crossroad with a big Olmeca head, then past the 5a avenida and the next street is the 1a avenida norte.
There take a right turn, drive for 3 more blocks and you will find the Blue Pearl Suites on your right-hand side.
