Alicia, the sales manager, resolved on her own initiative, a more budget-friendly end of my stay. This was greatly appreciated, as I am travelling on my own, which often makes staying in high-end hotels prohibitive. My stay there was, as a result, not only relaxing because of the facilities, but because of the friendly, professional, compassionate service. The location of this hotel, on the main plaza, was perfect. My room was at the back, no view, but quiet. I made use of the free laundry, which was nice. The breakfast was included and while it did not include an egg dish (continental only), it was very good and a sufficient amount of food.

The hotel's restaurant (Lu) is quite good, worth a visit even if you don't stay in the hotel. A laundry (washing machine and laundry dryer) is available free of charge. Located directly on the zócalo (main square) - many restaurants, bars, banks, etc. nearby. The hotel is perfectly located, the restaurant LU is very good, the staff is friendly and helpful. We plan to stay there again in a couple of weeks. Location is excellent as it is right on the main zocolo with a view of the cathedral. Great location to walk the centro historico. Especially not being told this beforehand and making several trips up and down the stairs (my room was on the first floor) on the first day when my key didn't work. For some reason, they did not have my letsbookhotel.com reservation when I arrived. However, there was a room available, so this did not end up being a problem. It is just that this was the first time in all my years of reserving with letsbookhotel.com that this has happened. On arrival at 7:30 PM, they gave us a small room with no view, not the balcony with view of the square that we had reserved. I asked to change for the 2nd and 3rd night, and they did it.....not sure if they tried to pull a fast one or not, but it worked out ok. Rooms facing the main zocolo may be a bit noisy for some people. The air quality in the room was not the best. There was no air conditioning, and the air circulation of the inside-view room was disappointing. Perhaps an outside-view room would provide better air circulation quality. no air conditioner in room. The view from the room....a wall 3 meters away!. Internet was terrible,very bad. horrible heat; room in ugly new addition to hotel; sun pouring in windows in bed and bathroom; room on airshaft...open window of about 3 feet x 5 feet..dangerous...OPEN to airshaft 4 stories down; NO AC or fan....dead air...didn't cool suff. to sleep until. 1 AM... terrible location in hotel.
