Good value for money in the Cancun area. Very comfortable. Very nice pool area. Helpful concierges. Enough palapas for all guests. Very nice beach. all reviews » Everyone, and I mean every person, we encountered at this resort was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the Royal Caribbean and entire area. They also never missed an opportunity to wish us a great day or to enjoy our stay. You should be very proud of your staff they really enhance the beauty of this resort. I liked the proximity to the choice part of the coast, the pools, the activities offered, the convenience store, and the closeness to a bus stop. It had pretty good restaurants. It was kind of nice to have a concierge assigned to work with you. If your looking for a quite, relaxing time in Cancun then this is the place for you. Happy Hour by the pool is a nice way to pass the time. Large Cocktails for 58 pesos all absorbed by a tasty Cuban Sandwich ( enough for 2 ) for 115 pesos. The staff was great - very helpful with directions and arranging day trips; facilties were great and easy of use; the beach was private where turtles come to lay eggs. If you're a new guest, expect to be solicited to buy a timeshare at their sister resort near Playa del Carmen. Also, the wireless service is erratic and slow. The check in service was slow. The reception staff need a refresher course in welcoming you to the Resort.....there isn`t One !!! Fortunately my cheerful housemaid made up for them. Also this Hotel is a good 20 minutes by bus to the fun of downtown Cancun. I checked in on a Friday and had to change rooms on Saturday which second room was not cleaned before they assigned it to me. Was 4 hrs before it was cleaned. We stay about a week, and in saturday we had to change room, the staff try to make it the fast they can but still we spend half day on that. The location was little far from the center and you need to take bus. Bit outdated furniture and bathroom. I did not like the pression of the sellers of membership to buy it. they don't have shampoo in the bathroom. The room change on Saturday was a minor downside as the new room was not cleaned on time. -we have two order to the hotel day after day we also call them to tell them that we what anther day unfortunately they still can't find us a room to be there two night only one day in a room and the anther way in anther room - we did check in in 23:00 at night and we were really tired and it been anther hour until i got my room because of the slow reception - in the room there isn't a shampo or a sope - in the living room there is a hard bad. Staff not helpful poor service and poor information. Very few restaraunts on the property No shampoo in the room. - all purchases in the hotel (even bottle of water in the supermarket) have to be paid by credit that you need to put on your hotel card - you cannot use cash/credit card - definitely not a 5* hotel - standard room looks outdated - too expensive and no meal plan included. Check in was laborious and they upcharge everything. It was irritating after awhile. Not in the Zona hotelera, so we needed a bus to go there...Everything you buy is in credit card, even the coffee in the lobby!!!!!! No breakfast included...
