  Staying here was really nice and so are the staff, in the end me and my good friend was almost sorry to leave immediately (1 night stay). Entering the room, it was clean and quiet. The bathroom is also spacious and very clean. And the best part is the beautiful scenery of the Melaka river. A very reasonably priced hostel I'd recommend it to anyone... what people say » . It's a must in your tour of Melaka. We will definitely stay here again. - River One provides simple accommodations, but had no issues. I had my own room, with air conditioning. There is a shared area with view of the river, and also a shared kitchen available to use. The location is 2 blocks from Jonker Walk (lovely night market). The staff helped arrange a taxi to get to the bus station, which otherwise would have been a challenge.

  I had the best stay here out of all the hostels I've been at through the years. Originally booked for one night and ended up staying for two. The owner Ah Kuan is an extremely friendly and sincere person who has all his guest's best interest at heart. He took us out on a lengthy night tour of the city and even popped open a bottle of "champagne" t... what people say » he bunch of us one night. The facilities in the hostel are good and functional. It's a terrific place to meet and mingle with other travelers. I'd str - Is a little and quiet hostel, very clean, and super close to jonker street and some other atractions. There are spare adaptors to plug your electronics. The internet is good and there is a computer with free access for those who aren't trvalling with their own. Kuan is very very nice, he organized a night out for diner and even drove some guests to the beach (i was too tired to go :/). Then when I had to leave he drove me to the bus station! super nice! definitely would go back.

  Karim & CT are the most genuine people I've meet in Malaysia. They just receive their guest with open arms. They seem excited to get to know you. Karim always with a smile on his face... He is happy to talk about food any time as he is a chef as well... The couple work together in the best interest of their guests. The rooms are very spacious ... what people say » and the toilet are big .... Regularly cleaned. Location is good not far from jonker street .. But far enough to avoid the noise and the chaos from it! - the owner couple are very friendly and helpful. the room facilities are kept as basic, however, the room is very clean, so as the bathroom and toilet. good for a short stay. the owner also provide us some simple breakfast, which was not included in the package. one night, mr Karim cooked curry mutton and invited us to join him for dinner. realy tasts good :)

  Good location, a mere 5-10 min walk to Jonker Street and all the heritage sites. Nice and helpful staff. Keycard lock on the front door from 6 pm to 9 am - felt very safe. Room was simplistic, nice and clean. They also provide bicycle rentals on the premises. - Clean and budget

  Staffs are very friendly and kind.they gave us a lot of useful information.thanks so much. Their hostel is good enough for solo.cheap and comfortable.hope to live there again. - Great location! Just few seconds walk to jonker street. Very budget hostel and value for money. Highly recommended if you plan to stay for few days.
