Almost everything. Location The hotel location very strategic just next to Mahkota Parade Mall, which is next to Malacca 'Menara Taming Sari' (The Viewing Tower) where you can see most of Malacca city. Near distance to Jonker walk which is nice to visit especially at night. Near to many food places and good restaurants that serve Malacca famous 'Asam Pedas' and 'Ikan Bakar'. From Menara Tamingsari you could just hire 'Beca' (3 wheels bike with tourist guide). You could just relax and he will t.
all reviews » My family stayed in this apartment whenever we visit Malacca. We have actually visited Malacca thrice and our choice for accommodation is always this apartment. The location is great as it is just beside Mahkota Parade Shopping Mall and I love the parking as there are ample space. Although there is no check-in counter like other hotels but we always get personal service from the staff who will be at the apartment to help us with the check in. If we need any help, they are just a phone call. The hotel facilities were amazing. Totally worth every penny you spend. Location is fantastic. Right-smack in the middle of the town center. We were greeted at our car by the staff and was escorted to our room, and check in was done in the room (which is very convenient as we were traveling with heavy baggage). Very warm and friendly service and check out was also done in the room. The view was amazing and there was a serene ambiance to the location. We stayed for only one night, and we are def. Almost everything! Couldn't find any fault with the place. Super comfy, super clean. We stayed in a 3-room apartment and the kitchen was surprisingly very well equipped-with oven, microwave, large fridge, cutleries, pots and pans. They even provide casserole dishes and wine glasses! We actually managed to whip-up proper meals for dinner and breakfast. Mahkota Parade is just across the road, making our grocery shopping that much easier. Have stayed in Mahkota Hotel (this is located inside the hotel apartments, but is privately run) and compared the apartment was luxurious and very clean. Location is right next to the Mahkota Mall and Hatten Square. And the agent responsible was quite helpful and prompt. The same group owns the Jonker Boutique hotel, so its possible to park your car there too for free, since its almost impossible to find park around Jonker street on busy days. Location of the hotel is fantastic. The operator actually bought over individual units from the owners and rented them out. That is why there is no reception, and the owner will have to meet you directly at the hotel. Works fine for us, except that we have to make overseas call to contact the "hotel" staff. Nice view, friendly staff, comfortable bedroom, bathtub and shower. Living room was also comfortable. If you open the sliding door, you can enjoy the breeze from beach. You enjoy little privacy as well. We had a surprise visitor in the room in the middle of the night. A cockroach! But we managed to kill it and throw it away. So it was all good :p. There was no bidet in the bathroom which is reachable from the toilet bowl. Rooms facing the road are very noisy and with the random racers all night, sleeping is almost impossible. One of the room had some seepage / pealing paint on the wall adjacent to the toilet. Took a little time to find the place, so need to take some care. The yucky lift and lousy facilities of Mahkota Hotel that you have to use, as the majority of the units are still run by Mahkota management. Tiny concrete stones were filling up the bath tub when I open the tap. Some old furnitures need replacement. No check in counter, check in is via Call only. This is still ok No proper traffic to cross over to the shopping mall although it is just opposite. This is very inconvenient if you have small kids. Should provide some leaflets/guides for tourist in the apartment. Nothing but please note that this is a 3 star. It has clean and good rooms but do not have extremely high expectations. For higher rated hotels, there are Holiday Inn and Hatten next door. nothing. No restaurant or room service provided. Since its an apartment, don't really cause a problem in the end of the day. Just a little difficult to understand where to go and what to do on arrival as they were privately owned, however this was quickly all sorted by the pleasent team whom run the apartments. Rooms in apartments facing the city can be noisy as the road immediately outside is heavily used. weekend night noisy outsite. It is just opposite of the shopping area, but it is difficult and dangerous to cross the road to reach the shopping area due to there is no traffic light or over head bridge. Should have change the cushion cover for the sofa and chair. none. WiFi not working most of the time. This hotel was managed by different Jetty, not Mahkota Hotel itself. We find a bit difficulties while we wanted to ask for extra towels or some small items, there is no operator line to call, we need to call the personnel hp. End up, we decided not to trouble the personnel for small request. Location. If one is looking for the historical part of malacca, the Jetty suites is a bit out of the way. Not clean pool, the hotel main road and there is a pedestrian crossing in the center, each time you will find extreme. Need to coordinate with staff for checking and checking out. There is two exit to the main road. Should have one more exit in the middle leading to the road. Cleaning quality can be improved. - Apartment rate can be cheaper if possible.
