Great location, great value, helpful staff. Close to everything and easy organise trips to all the highlights - Cultural Village, Orangutangs, Bako National Park. Top place with lots of atmosphere to make home. Breakfast was fine, great to have some peanut butter. 7-11 store is around the back so you can buy yoghurt and other breakfast foods to keep in the fridge in the kitchen.
Great and friendly Staff, very close to bus station (from whic you can travel to Bako National Park and Orang-utans Park. Close to restaurants and shopping mall. Rooms are clean.all reviews »

Stairs to the top floor and the room was a bit too small and only had a little window/skylight.
Rooms are small, in ours WiFi didn't work properly and we had to use it in the lobby. The breakfast was very simple, but if you want to stay there longer - you can buy everything in shops nereby. -.
sadly the facilities have deteriorated from our last visit. there was no option to make tea or coffeee on the room or on the floor. The hot and cold water machine on the floor did not work. In the bath almost all hooks and fittings were broken, the plumbing is quite typical for Malaysia but it really should be improved. Transport arranged by staff is not relyable as we didnt get picked up from Damai the following day, better to arrange ones own transport.
More lights on the Staircase for safety purpose.
