Everything was amazing in this hotel, the Staff were so helpful, whoever you ask about anything they will make sure that you get the premium with less money especially when we were asking about the tours. The breakfast is amazing and has a lot of variety, you will never get bored of having breakfast everyday. The Seafood Night was amazing, we had it twice during our stay. Food at the lobby was Excellent. Room are nic. I was waiting to come back home to rate this hotel. Shangri la....I cannot narrow down this experience in few words. It is extravagant. Every little detail is taken care of. Especially the staff from the time we arrived at the entrance to check in and depart. Super. I felt like royalty by the way they treated me. Welcome drink and service is splendid. Rooms bit tight but comfortable, free coach to pick up and drop off at Pavilion shopping.Will most certainly choose to stay here, althoug. It was billed to my credit card which was later refunded after a few strongly worded emails to the hotel. They later apologised to me. Until today, no customer service personnel from letsbookhotel.com had ever come forward to apologise for their blunder!! And I am still waiting..... I cannot fault the Shangri-La. From the moment entered the beautifully fragranced reception area, until I left three days later, everything was perfect : Comfortable room, with complimentary water, fruit and chocolates; magnificent choice of breakfast; live piano music in the evenings; walking distance to the Petronis Towers and shopping mall; exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. We had booked the Executive room but got upgraded to the suite as we had our 6 months old baby which was perfect! Definitely need the extra space with the extra baby stuff and baby cot. The only thing that bothered me was the air in the room. Just like any hotels I suppose, there are no windows to get the air flow moving. It doesnt help that the floor is also carpeted. My throat just felt a bit itchy and dry and got my sneezing started a bit. But all in all, we had a lovely experience in this hotel. After many decades of travelling around the world, I can honestly say I cannot think of anything I disliked about my stay in Shangri-La. By choice, I will always stay with you in future travels. Coffee severed at breakfast, it was over brewed with a distinctly burnt taste. Generally nothing to fault. If I had to find something, we had to self park our rental car. Some issue over the parking ticket and the company coming to collect it later. Otherwise all good. We had to remind that room was not cleaned at 3pm. Wifi signal was weak, often difficult to open the page (news, no movies). There was a cleaning person trolley in corridor and it smelled, they moved it away after about an hour but the smell remained, so I sprayed my edt. Driving to and from the hotel can be time time consuming at rush hour. But leave early in the morning or arrive after the evening rush and the journey is not overly inconvenient. Having to depart and go home. nothing. Leaving :-(. The only thing which I did not like is the room assignment I did ask for upper floors and make reservation a two month ago but they did put my in the third floor. The pool facilities are not to a 5 Star standard and probably smaller than would be necessary for a hotel of this size. The breakfast buffet also tends to be crowded so be prepared to eat in the coffee lounge if things are busy!. Everything was perfect. It really is "Shangri-La". That question is easy to ask but very hard to answer. Nothing. Absolutely nothing!. There wasn't one thing I could find fault with 10 out of 10. Nothing. No grant access to hotizon club during my stay. Nothing. Nothing. This is my kind of hotel. The pool and changing facilities are getting tired and require a refurb. Nothing! Maybe the restaurant is quite jammed. Important note: Be careful of thieves, handbag snatchers at the streets around Shangri La, they are professional thieves, so don't take any handbag while roaming around the hotel! we were stolen, it is terrible experience, so Be Careful!. Pool was a little cold. Whilst the breakfast was excellent, guests are seated too close to each other. Making guests pay for the valet does not make sense. Cannot fault it, Excellent hotel. Completely recommend. I ate too much!!. We didn't like having to leave. nothing. Room was a little small and the way the hotel is angled means only one tower is really visible. However these are small things and overall it is hard to fault the hotel. A bit pricey hotel's taxi.

A one-way ticket on KLIA Express is approximately USD 10. Travel time on the KLIA Express train is 28 minutes from the airport to KL Sentral. From KL Sentral it is a 20-minute taxi ride to the hotel.
