  We stayed at the Lotus Desaru for 5 nights at the end of April. If you're looking to stay at a 5 star resort, this is not the place for you, but if you're wanting to stay at a homely, friendly and family feeling place this is perfect. Yes the Resort is not in it's prime and the rooms are not emaculate,( neither is my home) but they are serviced an... what people say » d cleaned every day and perfect to rest your head after spending all day in the Resorts awesome pool, with it's "lazy river" water slide. Guards on du - "Excellent service, enjoying the blissful beach, superb suite, and sumptuous food. Sprinkled the trip with wit and fun; returned home relaxed and rejuvenated" this was the comment by one of my friend who was in the trip ! what else you need for a holiday ? One thing I must salute the boss of the resort !   We took a pool-facing room, which is also the sea-facing room. Great view, glad we took that, worth the extra expense in my opinion. Room was clean,spacious, with an attached balcony. The toilet is a sort of complex of three sections, almost like three small rooms: bathing area, tub, and washbasin: quite nice. We had a nice dinner and an acceptabl... what people say » e breakfast. The beach is lovely. The sea water's so clean it's like a swimming pool. The swimming pool itself is lovely. My wife took the massage: sa - The room is big n comfortable fr families. Kids can play in the kidsroom n outdoor play area if they don't jump in the pool. The beach is just a distance away. When I checked in and found out the location of our room was far n quiet ... They changed our room to a great location. Staff are friendly too.
