The location was beautiful. Parking easy and the room was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful and very understanding and patient with our almost 2 year old son. The Hotel restaurant had great food and the outside patio seating perfect for our little family. Staff were excellent - food was great value - fantastic location andalthough we had a car we used local bus/train to access LuxembourgCity as the return trip is only 7 Euros - less than the cost ofparking in the city.
all reviews » We travel a lot. The Heintz was the nicest hotel we ever stayed. The place is charming, food is excellent, and the owners (managers) are friendly and competent. The hotel in general - very traditional and felt "Olde Worlde" in keeping with the town. Staff very helpful and pleasant - nothing was too much trouble.They allowed our motorbikes to be kept in the garage overnight at no cost and so they were safe. Friendly and helpful reception. Very centrally located, furnished with antiques, very clean rooms, absolutely excellent breakfast. Excellent location, staff, room and food. Recommended. Doesnot apply to rooms at the back of the hotel obviously. The shower was abit cramped, even for me with a slim posture. Towels could have been larger and pillows thicker.We did not know in advance that the restaurant would be closed on Sundayevening and the doors would be locked to the hotel. We found out bychance and would otherwise have been locked out. Chips with almosteverything and no fruit at breakfast. WiFi access only in the hallways and bar/restaurant. So at night only way to use was to sit outside ya room. No mention of this on site. Breakfast can be prepared in more organized way, like a buffet with more variations. Dinner is served between 18h00 and 20h00! A bit odd!. It's a bit smelly.. but that is because of the old building and things inside i guess. The rooms were very very small.Disappointing when we wanted to copy a couple of pages on their copy machine. we were asked 50c per page!. Price.... really price is matter. 50euro would be decent per night.

The half-board menu is a 4-course menu with a choice for the main-course at an additional cost per person. Buffet breakfast is opened from 08h00 until 09h30. Dinner is available from 18h00 until 20h00.

Our family has been looking out for the well-being of our guests for 4 generations.

All the rooms have a new bathroom with shower, WC, and a flat-screen TV. There is a lift to all rooms. The comfortable balcony rooms all have a private balcony facing south, overlooking the garden and the town-wall of Vianden.

Completely restored, the hotel offers you a restaurant and a garden-terrace with French cuisine, Luxembourg specialities and a rustic wine-bar.
