Hotel personnel was highly efficient and acted immediately in every request and query from distance and on spot.The location of the hotel is in a sideway of the main highway that connects Byblos with Beirut and only 2 minutes walking to the old souqs (all atractions-nightlife)and 5 minutes to the seaport.Breakfast is basic but adequate and is served in the room without extra charge ,but must be preorder early in morning or the previous day.Rooms were in excellent condition( as pictures) and inc.
all reviews » Excellent Service. The hotel is managed by a team of young Lebanese that are ready to answer to any demand and we had lots of them but they helped with everything. Dont hesitate to ask them whatever you need. Rooms really nice as well but service says it all for this hotel. Positevely surprised. good location as well with a really good restaurant and a nice pastry shop just next to the hotel. only 2 mins walk from the old market which is the site to see in the city. The Hôtel is close to everything, 2 minutes walking to the Old Souk where you can do your shopping during the day, drink and dine at night. Also it is 5 minutes walking from the beaches and from the harbor of Byblos which is the oldest in the world :) Lovely staff & great service comparing to the price!!!. I have been staying here since the hotel first opened in October 2010 and I love the place and the staff. The rooms are big and well-furnished and it's close to the town centre and not too far from the beach. Compared to the other hotels in Jbeil it's the best value for money. The staff were superb, while this hotel is rated 3 stars, the service was better than 5 stars. The hotel is located in the middle of the ancient city of Byblos, with lots of activities, nightlife and restaurants that buzz with life every night. The staff were very kind and helpful, the sitting area was so comfortable, the design of bedroom was modern and I liked the touch of stone cladding behind the bed, the heating and cooling system works very well. Fantastic service. Staff were very helpful. They gave us great advice on places to visit and the best ways to get there. They made restaurant bookings for us and helped to organise Taxi's and transfers. I reserved I double room but It was upgraded to a suite WIth bed decoration Staff are so helpful and kind. Location is close to jbeil souk. The overall experience was excellent. Being a three star hotel you have not the choice of restaurant inside the hotel and meals ,but reception personnel will provide you with delivery English menus to order whatever you wish. Also some sheets and covers in bed had small holes (1-2) due to frequent cleaning and need a replacement.Balcony in the Highway rooms and in the sea cannot be used to seat outside due to their small size( service balconys) but they are handy in order to take a stand outside and look the view. not a major issue since we were there to see the place and not to stay at the hotel but the wifi was not working everywhere. If they fix this then its perfect. Breakfast can improve a little bit as well. I was shocked to see that in this strictly non-smoking hotel the owner and his friends sat in the lobby smoking every morning and every evening and whenever I passed the reception there were dirty ashtrays everywhere. Also the Wifi was terrible. In the 5 days I was there I could barely get a connection for the first 3 days. There wasn't anything that I didn't like. The sea view that I ordered was not as per my expectations because the hotel is located far from the sea-shore and buildings were blocking the view. Nothing. Only a very minor point - A small safe in the room would really add to the value of this hotel. breakfast is limited in choices, location is what it is (next to highway). Nothing. The absence of a room service View. It was quite noisy. It sounded like staff were moving things around (there was a staff room next door). THe noise continued until 2am and started again early the following morning. Bathroom & Shower tray Parking. their were problems with keys, poor t.v. channel.
