Our check-in at the front desk took less than a minute as the staffs were well prepared. The front desk responded to our request of baby crib with super efficiency even at late 10pm! Our whole family including my young kids of 7, 4.5 and 2 years old simply love this hotel. The room is huge even for 5 of us to stay and it's so homely & well thought and designed - a separate tatami sitting area with daily Nepresso coffee provided and facial masks. Though breakfast was not included but for usd.
all reviews » Very close to the Metro line and shopping centres. Hotel staff were very efficient and attentive. I booked a family room for myself and my two daughters and we were all very pleased with the space, comfort and design of the room. Aveda toiletries were very much appreciated, towels etc were changed every day. some other reviewers have mentioned the alley you have to go through to get to the hotel but it is occupied by local trades families who I found to be very friendly if you bother to speak . The hotel is fantastic, I asked for twin room as no single available. Had 2xqueen beds, dining room. Safe/fridge/coffee/tea maker/aircon/airfilter/large bathroom with bath and sep shower. Loo/bidet. Very helpful staff. Looks like a dodgy location if you have never been to Asia before. Just poor, hard working people and perfectly safe. There is KFC/Starbucks if you don't want to try the local food. You can go to big shop malls (on free bus) if you want to buy European food/wine/beer. The free ho. the hotel was located between two train stations. we travelled for almost one week prior to the stay at PJ, had a huge luggage. elevators were conveniently available. security did their rounds when we returned late at night and spotted them. had to use card to tap the lift and also to the entrance to the level of our rooms. felt relatively safe in the hotel. there were a few 24hrs restaurants around the area, had a real good handmade jajjangmeun there when we return around 2am in the morning. s. Hotel service is excellent, the staff spoke fluently english. The room was very clean and beautiful, they provide 2 free sample masks which is perfect for the ladies, but you have to buy toothbrushes since they don't provide you one.. The staff outside will help you bring your luggage above when you arrive since there are stairs and the reception is very helpful and it is 24 hours available ! The location is perfect for fashionable people cause it is located in the middle between Dongdaemun and. I loved the spaciousness of the room and the fact that they had a ladies floor. The atmosphere was very nice and even though it was a short walk from the Chungmuro subway to the hotel, it was very safe. The hotel rooms are nice with the balcony. The rooms were efficiently cleaned every day and supplies replenished. The hotel shuttle service is a bonus and it helped us to come back to the hotel after shopping at Dongdaemun at 2.00 am. It brings to to all the major shopping sites so it very . I like the thoughtfulness of the hotel in the way they provide the Nespresso coffee capsules, the beautiful tea sets, the cosy room with pillows of all sizes, water, extra blankets, dscounted breakfast buffet, WIFI, shuttle services and even face masks!!! It was an unbelievable experience! The staff was very friendly and efficient. I feel loved! And I will visit again when I visit Seoul with my family the next time. :). The hotel staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Even the chamber maids were always bright and chirpy. Housekeeping was always tip top. The front line staff were also able to advice and provide awesome day trip tours. The hotel breakfast and restaurant had a nice ambience and the food was delicious :) The 3 of us absolutely loved the beds and cozy corner! Excellent!. The place is in proximity to the places we intend to visit. And it is accessible to the public transport (bus or train). The cleaners, although they are not able to speak English are very good in the way they clean your room. And they show that they enjoy their work. I am very impressed that they have a espresso machine for their guest with 2 capsule per day but could have given 2 different types of capsule each day and not always the same kind of coffee. The hotel is spacious and they pay attention to make the hotel excellent with daily complimentary Nespresso in the room and a nice seating area in the room. The free shuttle bus service is very practical, room and balcony are very spacious and the balcony door is really air-tight(no smoking smell in the room even when someone smoking there) and the 9000 won breakfast is value for money. Pj is definitely the place to stay. Rooms are very clean, reasonably priced and the staff extremely helpful. There is Wifi access everywhere in the hotel which is a massive plus for the tech savvy. Location wise its a short distance walk from the Metro and there are plenty of places to eat out on the next block. take 6015 airport bus,but don"t get off at the Hotel PJ(Chungmuro Stn.)stop, because it takes 10 minutes walk to the hotel,get off at Best Western Gookdo Hotel(Uljiro 4-ga), turn right,and then turn left onto second street. the hotel right there.It takes less than five minutes. Nice hotel with friendly staff and comfy bed with real cover/duvet and huge pillows. Taxi cost just 2400w from Myeong Dong to Hotel, very affordable. Nice café (Twosome) around the corner for breakfast out. Two subway stations close by, just one station away from Myeongdong. The location is great, even though you have to cross some dark lane to get to the metro stations, still very accessible and close to the sights in the city center, direct airport bus linking two airports. Staff are nice, speaking Chinese. Good breakfast. -Comfortable -Water was extremely good(quality of water was much better than any other spa hotel) -water purifier was so convenient. -really spacious bed -bathroom amenities: I have sensitive skin, so it was really useful to use. The hotel has coin laundry machines facility with very reasonable price and the shuttle bus run every 15 minutes is convience. The hotel room is clean and modern. This is not really a negative as there was coffee and wheat tea available. the location, was too quiet in that area. if you are travelling alone, probably not reccomended, with a group of friends most definitely! on weekends, PJ holds wedding reception. we wanted to sleep in late, but was kinda affected by the loud music. None. Sadly the roof top terrace was not avail. Adding a pool would be fantastic!. There are no spoons and forks as well as microwave oven to heat up food. Shuttle bus was chartered for guest but however there are a lot of guest that are not staying at the hotel are taking the shuttle bus back to the hotel. Especially from dongdaemun stop. This have caused some hotel guest not able to board the bus back to the hotel but those not staying at PJ hotel are in the bus and walk back to their hotel after alighting at PJ Hotel. Bed was too small. I can't figure it was a queen size bed or a super single bed. I have requested for a king size bed though. No self service laundry room. Foam pillows only, no feather pillows available. No tooth brush nor shaver provided. The place is in an industrial area which is not so conducive for tourist but the shuttle bus makes up for it as it takes us to the town area and near all the tourist spots. Hope the timing for route A shuttle bus could be extended till 20.00hrs so that we can still have time for dinner at Myeong-dong. Taxi drivers don't understand english so its recommended to take the metro or have the PJ's address card in Korean. The area is off, lots of local workers passing through, the streets gets a bit dirty and noisy during day and are dark during night. But taxi is cheap!. Everything was perfect. however, next time it will be much better to smile & be nice to domestic guests. We could hear when the door of next room was opened. Wish to have been provided with toothpaste and toothbrushes. Seasonal air conditioning made me a little worried as I like my room cold -- turned out ok due to weather. Also room smelled like cigarettes upon check-in, but they freshened it up somehow after we left. Keeping balcony open for a while helped this out. Area around the hotel not so clean.. But it is not so bad.It is fact because it is wholesale district. The chairs in the rooms could be updated but this is a minor complaint compared to the property overall -I would stay there again, value for money and quality it is hard to beat in Seoul. i requested non smoking room but i still got a room full of smell of smoking cigarettes. coffee machine has not been refilled with coffee capsules. The location is somewhat obscure. The lane leading from the airport shuttle drop off to the hotel is dark, damp and smells. This is not to say that it felt unsafe. The shops that lined the lane were just old and nondescript and the shopkeepers went about their daily business without much ado. The size of the double room was too small and cramp. We hardly have the space to walk within the room. Location - while they are in Myeongdong, they are more on the far edges of that neighborhood. The area is surrounded by hardware stores. The famous Myeongdong shopping center is a good 15-20 min walk. breakfest is in the asaian style, would like a more diverse menue, Hotel is in a more industrial area, pic of hotel does not indicate that, could be discribe as off the main area,. The fact that the blanket & sheets were not white, which seems that it wasn't clean. Surroundings are a little poor. No room service. room was abit small. The check-in time is strictly after 2pm. That the KAL bus doesn't go there, and the street bus was a walk to the hotel....2 gals we met were huffing and puffing and saying it was quite a walk. - found 2 holes on the bed sheets. No room service. *far from Myeongdong. Some hairs were found on the bedsheets even after room service.
