I was travelling with my parents and my 5 year daughter & we had a lot of luggages & we were travelling to the airport via the KAL limousine bus. The bell boy gave excellent service to us by taking our 11 pieces of luggages to the nearby KAL limousine bus station without a word of remorse & waited there for me to gather all my family members to the bus station with smile. I felt so bad for him & wanted to give him a tip which he refuses saying its the hotel policy for not accept.
all reviews » The concierge was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Great for family vacations, especially with small children. The amusement parks and fairy tale characters were right next door. Great for shopping as well, since a wonderful, world-class department store is attached to the hotel. The staff were friendly.House keeping was good as our room was cleaned and tidied up nicely.It is not so crowded and peaceful too.Location was great as supermarket, DFS and Lotte theme park are near vincity.Concierge staff was good as given shuttle bus direction. Jamsil subway shopping, airport bus arrived right at hotel, ease of using subway- good location, gym facilities free & workout clothes & socks provided but the sizes run small, staff speaks English , no tipping. The serve was good especially from Steve who was manning the reception at the time of our check in. The concierge were very helpful too. Rooms were bright, spacious and clean. 1. Good Location, Lotte department store and lotte world, all in close distance. 2. In Room Service, Molton Brown toiletries,... 3. Room interior, great view. Lotte World is inside the hotel. Professional staff, extremely clean and has all the amenities you would expect from a 5 star hotel.. Lotte World - pretty good for children. Location, everything you want, you can buy there, including Duty free shop on the 10th floor. My daughter was amazed (she's 7 years old). It's a good hotel next to lotte duty free department store, room was fair enough with good facilities. Service staff at all levels were courteous and helpful. Rooms were ready before checked in time. concierge & bell service. Nice lobby. Nothing that I don't like. The room had only one US-style electric outlet. Big problem for US business travelers. Staff especially at reception/front desk need to brush up their English more. When given direction, we could have walk to hotel side door lead to supermarket but was instead directed to walk from outdoor to subway. Little regret was housekeeping did not replenish our tea or coffee for us. Carpet was old but hotel was replacing carpet while we were there - so it should feel new, rooms a little small compared to American standards. 1. Very expensive lobby coffee shop for no reason. 2. Expensive room rate for a typical room. German beer house inside the hotel needs a smoking room..a little overpriced. Very far away from anything in Seoul city center. Cost allot more than was quoted in my booking. The registration staff wanted to give us 2 single bed room and looked upset when we insisted on one double bed. In no time finally gave us double bed room. Why said there were no double bed room in the first place?. Everything was perfect. Gym, driving range, spa, swimming pool closed on same day. Should spread out. Jus. Somehow the room temparature and common area such as lobby, corridor (the whole hotel) is to be set arround 24 to 26 degree celcius... which is for most of us is too hot... it would be much nicer if temperature can be set to 20 to 22 degree celcius... some how no matter how you set up the temperature control in your rooms... it just does not work. I know cause we had 5 rooms at that momment. Small rooms. Based on the positive reviews I expected the hotel and rooms to be more comfortable than it actually was. The construction going on the 29th floor. Bathroom was little bit disappointing, feeling its an old hotel & it's location is little bit far from tourist attraction sites, though seoul is a small city which makes the location not so important especially for short stay visits. Nothing. reception service. Quite surprised about the worn out rooms and furniture. Got an allergy from the carpet in the room, very dusty (only deep cleaning or removal would help). WiFi in the room not stable (sometimes didn't connect for hours) and AC did not go below 24 degrees.
