  Amazing place there! The dinner in the room is fabulous, and at 8:45 p.m. can see the HANA-BI(fireworks) both in the room and around the lake, there are also Natsu-matsuri in the summer nights. And the hot spring there is also fantastic! Especially love the cave kind. Very awesome - Lake Toya Hotels are located in front of a very large bay - a scenic area with many boat operators looking for customers. At 8.45pm, lots of fireworks are lit from the bay which are enjoyed by many folk. Your tariff includes dinner and breakfast - dinner is an authentic Japanese meal and is excellent. If you notify the hotel of your arrival time, they will meet you at the station - the hotel is located about 4-5 miles from the station. They will also shuttle customers back to the station

  We arrived 2 hours early before check-in time on a rainy day and were immediately checked into one of the larger room. The room is nicely deco and very clean.The windows are facing the lake and you can even get a view of the Yutei mountain on a clear day. The Pension is run by a friendly couple with a helper who can speak Mandarin and English thus... what people say » was able to be our translator. We stayed for 2 nights so were able to sample both western and japanese style cooking for dinner and breakfast. The - The pension is clean and comfortable, with the summer fireworks show visible from the lake view room windows. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious and a great value for the money. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating, even with limited English ability. Overall, we highly recommend this place.
