Very clean, I like the atmosphere there. This is small so not many guests living during my stay. The night staff is helpful and effective. The girl in reception could speak good english and knows some other languages. They are all friendly and ready to welcome every one. The lady at reception even helped us to take our heavy luggage upstairs. The facilities in kitchen are also good even I didn't use them much but all the basic cutlery and cookers could be found there. all reviews »
Extremely friendly staff with excellent English.
The hostels location has many restaurants and places to drink. Osaka city center (Namba, Shinsaibashi etc) are 10 minutes by foot.
Very clean and very comfortable. Free wi-fi and hot tea and coffee are included.
Also, this place smells amazing! A strong wood smell. .
Staff was immensely helpful. Location is great for Osaka touring, cosy, preferred over larger hostels. Simply brilliant.

The female dormitory room is quite small, if some one has really big luggages, it is not possible to put all of them upstairs. But the basement could help to improve this situation. The shower sometimes does not work. Not hot water at all. But there are two shower there, if one doesn't work then the other should be good...Nothing. .

Room is a bit smaller than I thought, but it's good though, because you may request to share a same room with your friends.
Would have been nice to have bike rental or laundry facilities.
The room was quite cramped, so it was difficult to move around or even sit up straight on the top bunk.
No personal nightlight and power plug.
