This is my 3rd time staying with the hotel. Great service from the hotel staff, room is exceptionally comfortable and the hotel is just right beside Kanayama Station, making it very convenient as I do not need to drag my luggage a long way. I'm also impressed with the way they handled my parcel that was mailed to the hotel; they notified me through email upon receiving it and kept it securely. Very happy with the hotel and will definitely go back again whenever I'm visiting Nagoya.
all reviews » The staff were awesome. Especially the bell boy and front desk staff. The front desk staff comfortably spoke English and were very helpful. The bell boy was so farm, charming and had a great smile which was very welcoming. The breakfast buffet had everything a Japanese or Western visitor could dream of for breakfast and it was all delicious. My Japanese boyfriend and I want to come back again very soon. The price was very reasonable. Location is great, near station Kanayama, The view from bed room is execellent! Good night set in room with bath power, tea bag...is very thoughtful, I will sure stay in this hotel again. everything was great, the staff were wonderful, the parking was reasonably priced, check in was decent hour and the room was fantastic. Staff gave us smoking room when we requested for non smoking room. Most didnt understand English. Air con seems not to be working at night time. Lobby looks quite dated. Rooms are too small. But this is normal in Japan. I did not like the pillows. Well honestly check in time I was coming from overseas yet I have to wait till 2.00pm If they can improve that area that will be wonderful. Heating pot not working. None. Hotel lobby. Difficult to find out hours of adjacent Nagoya/Boston Museum of Art. Bad internet wifi in the room, only. Small rooms. This hotel is in need of refurbishment - the carpet, lamp shades, etc. were stained and a bit dirty. Dated room design. Impersonal. No charm. Far from the main Shinkansen station. Bad Internet. Very expensive restaurants.
