Amazing location. Just a few minutes walk from the gardens and castle. There is also a Seattle's Best cafe in the lobby so if you need caffine. The staff provided me with an english brochure Kanazawa. with a map of the surrounding sites of interest, bus routes, and suggestions for dinner. Please note as other reviews have said the rooms can be quite small. This was no problem for me since I was solo, and only had a 26L backpack. But other people may want to be notified. One other thing.
all reviews » This hotel has communal baths and I took 2/day. It was very hot in the daytime so it was great to have the hot batch when we returned from a ay's sightseeing. Hotel has buses out front including sightseeing city loop bus. Lobby cafe has rare reasonable coffee including cappuccino. Great location, 5 mins to the gardens and castle on one side, then the shops and restaurants all around. Loved the onsen baths on the roof and used twice a day! Great value chain hotel, twin room decent sized. Coffee shop in the lobby. Perfect for a city trip. Really good location - handy for shops and all of sight seeing. Clean, comfortable. I loved the location. It was quite close to very interesting and scenic points in Kanazawa City. location was good , and nice coffe shop. Good location for shopping and easy to access to other interesting places. It rained cats and dogs the day I was there. Tried to spend as much time at the gardens as possible but i got soaked. I ended up spending most of the day in my hotel room. Its $15 by taxi to the station but hotel is on a main bus route and easy to spot so would recommend taking a bus, two stations are next to each other. Very small bedrooms - with two large cases we really struggled to move around the room and ended up having to get ready one at a time!. I did not like the hidden fees associated with the parking costs. The hotel advertised as having it's own parking lot which was available to its patrons. They failed to mention that we would had to leave during the day or risk being charged a separate fee. The parking situation cut deeply into our spending money. Based on this decision I will not be staying at this hotel again. small double was way too small so we upgraded , parking was a rip off. no wireless lan in the room. Very small room small bed and no remote to control air condition temperature by ourselves . Room is the smallest i've ever lived. Pellow & blanket is noisy. Bed is old & loosen. Not recommend. Expensive & not price worth....
