We were so impressed by this hotel. Beautiful and stylish place, great staff and cleanliness (like everywhere we stayed in japan) The room was huge for Japanese standards too! The bar is lovely and has live jazz some nights. Location is brilliant - a 10 min walk down Peace Boulevard to the Peace Memorial gardens and museum (must see) and on the doorstep of the cute little streets full of nightlife (go out the back entrance, left then right) - some lovely bars and restaurants very close by.

View from 19th floor, interior of the hotel is very appealing and bar/restaurant on the top floor is amazing. Pleased to see Borek Sipek's works in the hotel. Front desk reception very pleasant, breakfast staff perhaps not enjoyed their job fully. This is a nice hotel. The room is average sized for Japan. The bed was very uncomfortable based on American standards, but the rest of the room was okay. Everything was very clean. They serve free coffee in the lobby in the morning. Lovely Japanese restaurant and the staff were really helpful about what to eat. Great violinist and double base in bar one eveing. Fabulous location for walking to all sight seeing hotspots or tram. Good location very easy to move around. Staff at Mitsuki restaurant and staff at the breakfast room provided good service and very polite. Helpful staff. Rooms are quite the deal, budget-friendly, clean and comfortable. Don't miss Okonomi-mura while in Hiroshima. The location is excellent, once you get there, near to all the places that you are likely to want to go to. Impressed by this hotel, location, staff, rooms, clean, WiFi. Well appointed hotel. Size of breakfast room and choice for breakfast - though a large hotel, it can only hold 50 people at once (for breakfast). Food served is a predominantly typical Western breakfast rather than Japanese food; oikonomiyaki at breakfast were very poor at the time we were there. To me their choice of Japanese food served for breakfast not corresponded to the hotel type - (and when comparing with other hotels visited). Location. If I could do it over, I would have stayed at a hotel closer to Hiroshima Station. The tax to the hotel was around $10 each way, so the money you save on the room is lost on transportation to and from it. Few English speaking restaurants in the area. If you are staying here, and don't speak a lot of Japanese, plan to eat while you are out and about. Nothing it was great. Not quite impressed with the front desk staff. I stayed 5 days and breakfast menu never changed, very limited choice. Maybe more business-friendly than backpackers friendly: a couple of tram stops plus 10-12min walk from Hiroshima station. Nothing to complain!. Had to call the front desk to complain about noise at 11:30 at night from a group of people two rooms down. location is good but need to walk 10-15min from tram stop to hotel. Room and bed small for 2 people. bathroom. central but not near public transport. Room was very small in spite of upgrading to a larger room! And wifi only worked I the corridor outside, not inside our room as we were told it would. Staff not overly friendly. No wifi in room.
