all reviews » The food in the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. The rooms were comfortable and cleaned out on a daily basis. The staff were also helpful. I liked the interaction with the staff they were very helpful and pleasant thank you. The room was very comfortable. The full breakfast served. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay there again and again. I love that big confortable bed in room 220 and the general conditions there in that room. its a good hotel, price is reasonable and its within the shopping area. Room was comfortable and close to business and shopping. It's a fine hotel. Nothing extraordinary. The bed is really big, which we loved after spending three weeks in Cuba. The location is ok. Devon House and the Bob Marley museum are in a walking distance. cozy. Food was good. Room was spacious. Restaurant staff was great. Manager was very involved. I was lucky - I only stayed here 2 nights!. Breakfast was ok. Everything was good. My stay was just too short. I did not liked your check out policy. Management should first confirmed with guest if they will extend their booking before re-booked rooms that guest already occupied. This would elevate any inconvenience and misunderstanding. The Air-Con was a bit noisy but was attened to. The toilet didn't function properly as the cistern didn't always refil without a bit of coaxing. to many stairs. Still having issues with the rooms near the kitchen the noise and all early in the morning. But still one of the best value hotels in Kingston. i dont have any dislike. 1) Lack of a fridge in the room. In a tropical climate it would have been good to have a place to keep cold water and soft drinks 2) Delay at front desk due to only one person handling external calls, room calls and reservations. The paint of the bath got loose. That's not a very big deal, but for the price you pay for the hotel you would think this would be better. The swimming pool is right next to the restaurant where the breakfast is served. I did not like the idea of walking in me bathing suite while everybody could see me while they where eating. I didn't feel comfortable. I think the hotel is too expensive for what you get, but I think that's normal for Kingston. Slow service at breakfast. Many people doing nothing and you have to wait till they serve you. Buffet would be better. Front desk staff is very rude. Unfriendly, looked annoyed and cant be bothered attitude. One baggage guy. Long wait before u check in. Recommended change the front desk staff. poor service at reception. no water in room on arrival. hard to get kitchen staff to work up to hours stated for meals. The room was a scrap. In all my stays at hotels I have never seen a more disgusting room like this one. The bath was a disgrace it seems it has never being clean for sometime. The furniture need changing the beds are the most uncomfortable one I have ever slepton. The price I paid did not worth the stay. I will never stay at this hotel again. The premises was dirty there were leaves all over the place. I don't think that i would recommend it to any one.
