It was quiet,comfortable and great air conditioning. Staff very attentive. Loation was very good ie 150 meters from thr Arena. Verona is a lovely city and the hotel sits in the centre of it. The pice was not cheap for the small room. The staffs were helpful. Parking was a problem. It is just convenient in terms of location. It was also clean. Parking in the garage was a little expensive. Everything was great, no complaints at all!. The lift, like many others in Italy is far too small and out of date. Despite prominent signs everywhere regarding smoking being prohibited in the hotel, when someone smoked a cigar in the corridor outside our room and the smoke penetrated our room, the hotel staff at the Reception Desk were rude, unsympathetic and uninterested. A room of much lower standard was offered but no discount forthcoming. The only other offer made was to upgrade to a suite at greater cost. Not very helpful when I wanted to know the times for the flightbuses from the trainstation. the milk in the breakfast room was always too warm as it was located next to the toaster. No parking. Difficult to find. Needs refreshing. Yes, parking price is outragious and they leav you with no real options.Expensive. No one helped me with my bags. I was struggling from the lift and a staff member walked past and did not even offer to help me. When I arrived, same thing, no staff member offered to help me bring my bags from the taxi into the hotel.The rooms are tiniy and the bed even worse. The heater was not working properly. It was boiling unless you open the window and enjoy all the street noises. They have given me a first floor room with view on the street. No room service for food and one of the guys in teh reception was really unfriendly. The hotel was old and dirty. It was not similar to the picture, it war an unpleasant experience.
