Being near the ferry, the staff at the restaurant (although the food not as good as north Italy as it obviously has to be bought in), the modernity and interior design, the grandeur of the old contrasted with the new, near the shops and important historic sites. Very Kind Staff. We appreciate their service because they are still kind after fcheck out when we visited Venice again a few days ago.

Located at a Vaporetta Stop , close to ST. Mark's Square , shops and restaurants. Very, very clean. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more willing to assist with any questions. Everyone spoke English, but they did accomodate my attempt to speak Italian to them. A bit pricy but for our first trip to Vencie location meant everything to us. Enjoyed almost everything, the location could not be more central, the staff was very helpful, the room at the Palazzo building was very cosi and clean. TIP: ask the helpdesk abt complimentary round trip to murano factory. Worth seeing!. the front of house staff. I also enjoyed the views of the canal especially on my last morning where I had breakfast on the terrace.It is a very beautiful and elegant hotel, even if you stay in the other building the room is quite good and spacious. The fact the computer was in the main foyer , no private business room, the fact I had to wait to obtain my room, some of the staff could not speak English. They only negative thing i can think of is that Hotel was Ultra packed with people. Breakfast terrace even if it is at a simply great spot overlooking the Grand canal entrance, it was too noisy from people in and out all the time so you could not really enjoy. I think the breakfast should have been more substantial either a buffet which I do not like ,or a la carte included in the price.. The breakfast. I was disappointed that breakfast (which was already included in the price of the accomodation) only covered tea/coffee, bread and croissants. Everything else was charged for as an extra, it would have been good if I could book a room without breakfast so that I could have made my own choices of whether I wanted breakfast at the hotel or elsewhere. The only let down was the breakfast staff were not very friendly.Room to Room telephone did not work. All the staffs are very friendly and full of hospitality but the one at checking-out could be better. The breakfast was cheap for the hotel category. The poorest in all the 4 stars I experienced. But if you have the chance to be close to the window, the vue is amazing.The breakfast was kind a lower then the hotels standarts. And u can get lost in the labyrinth like corridors to get to our room a simple floor plan by the elevators would do ... The only fault we could find was that the room showed evidence that it had not been used for soom time.There should be more choices of breakfast without having to pay extras to get the good and complete meal. Like most Italian staff,the hotel staff were not friendly and warm.Lacking facilities - We were put up in an out house that was 3 stars at best. service, staff, and cleanliness of room based on how much i payed for the room it was a disgrace.
