Comfortable small hotel in an amazing postition at a reasonable price. Excellent restaurant. All staff were very courteous and helpful.Ideal as a base to visit all the city sights, which were within walking distance and accessible by water bus from immediately outside the hotel. - service and location is excellent - exceptionally easy to find at the Zaccariah stop - room for three was comfortable with a view of the canal. - breakfast in the dining area was welcomed - flexible with requests - great water pressure in the shower - ask for wi-fi.

Most pleasent part was a breakfast in a glassed hotel's retraunt just on seafront - warm and great sight. Great hotel to stay. Stayed one night whilst visiting Venice. Great position on the Riva Degli Schiavoni just near St Mark's Square. Ideal for travelling around the city as water bus stops just outside. Value for money in an expensive city. The Hotel Pensione Wildner has an excellent location in the most beautiful city in the world, Venice! Airport buses... sorry airport boats :-) are just outside the hotel. Decent breakfast and a very good bed. Very cute and friendly hotel in Venice, location is 10/10 they have a nice restaurant attached as well.. The staff was great! The room was a little small, but the bathroom had plenty room and the shower head was nice and strong. The location was perfect - our room overlooked the Grand Canal, the hotel is only a few steps away from the vaporetta stop and from Piazza San Marco. They kept our luggage on the second day while we finish our site seeing. Hotel Pensione Wildner has no elevator and narrow and steep stairway. Only two rooms on each floor are facing the sea and the other two facing... virtually nothing... If you cannot get a room facing the sea then don't expect a beautiful view. 6 flights of stairs to the top floor! But I'm just being lazy :-). No elavator, it would of been difficult for my friend that has limited mobility to walk up any higher. Stairway alittle worn, but rooms neat and clean. After all your in Venice to a true antique City. No lift and our room was on 4th floor - good exercise to burn off some of the lovely Venizian food but tough with all the luggage ... 1. WiFi not reliable as not always available. 2. Slow WiFi speed when connection established. 3.no elevator. A/c was not very strong. Some water damage to ceiling in shower although no effect on showering, and the ventilation grille was black with grime. Nothing, it was all good, but obviously a no-frills option. Shower room needs renovating I.e. missing tiles. No lift and having to carry suitcases 3 floors up narrow stairs. Tacky fabric coverings to cheap wardrobe. 5 euro for a bottle of water in the reception (0,75 liter). Too expensive on a backpacker budget for 3 persons, although I know that Venice is an expensive city in general. no elevator, hard to get heavy luggage upstairs. - to ask for wifi - should be free and easy to access - room number and last name. We visited Venice in August, and specifically chose a hotel with air con because we know how hot Italy can be, but it was totally inadequate. staff could be more friendly and as there is no lift offer assistance with bags. wi fi inconsistent and slow the mould above our shower was not a good look. No lift and struggled with 4th floor room. 1. I booked a room with sea view, I received a room with view in the back. 2. A LOT of irritating black people trying to sell you stolen goods. There was no elevator and our room was on the 4th. floor. Room facilities were old. Shampoo and soap in the shower were banal. Check out time was soon (11 am). Safe box was an non digital old one. you must leave the key at the reception in exit. The breakfast in hotel's restaurant was very common and the restaurant was closed after breakfast for whole day. Very poor facility. For this price in Venice you can find better accommodation. Hotel needs refurbishment. Food in the restaurant was very untasty and very much overpriced. Better to eat in small trattorias behind St.Marco square- very tasty and 3 times cheaper!. Air conditions was not working Towels were not clean. Overpriced, even for its location. Very limited facilities. Relied on its name to make money - they didn't make much effort. No elevator, very old and antiquated, uncomfortable bedding, small. Hotel was pathetic, unclean,stinky,very congested room with very bad toilet room. Overall it was not woth 3 star n no value for money. In my opinion youth hostels would be much better than this so called 3 star hotel.
