We enjoyed our stay in Palazzo Vitturi. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and quiet, the breakfast was good. The hotel is positioned very conveniently at an equal distance from San Marco and Rialto. We had a late arrival but the staff was very friendly and helpfull and we did not have any problems. We had an excellent time in beutifull Venice and this hotel contributed a lot for that.

I'm recommanding it to all my friends!. The most incredible mural was painted on my ceiling; it was a wonderful way to fall asleep every night. The room had two balconys and an excellent buffet breakfast. Lovely hotel in a quiet and good location. We travelled with 2 children aged 7 and 9 and had the suite room which was perfect for a family.Superb location; outstandingly friendly and helpful staff; very good breakfasts; excellent value all round!. Very welcoming and friendly. Helpful staff . lovely large clean rooms. Could not have done more. . The staff were very helpful and informative. The location was brilliant, the rooms very well appointed and dispite arriving at 11.30pm the hotel was fairly easy to find. one thing for new arrivals to bare in mind is that the alley ways are very narrow, but safe, don't be put off when arriving to find yourself having to walk dark alleys that look like dead ends. Extremely helpful and friendly staff with good suggestions for restaurants and places of interest.position was fantastic- very central and just 5mins from st marks square also reasonable price. Maybe the only thing that could be better would be the breakfast which is quite simple (buffet).Fresh fruits would be nice as well as more choice in cereals and bread.nothing. Having to eat breakfast in the corridor, If your room opens out to the corridor it can be quite nosiy with the rattling of crockery at 8.00am. we booked a room for 4 and it had 2 double beds one of which was a sofa bed, this should have been described as "suitable for family of 4" (but maybe not 4 independent adults). Could not turn off the heater in our room so windows had to be wide open which allowed mosquitos in. Family upstairs presumably in a flat above us meant a lot of noise through the ceiling.Staircase a bit too steep, but there is a lift for wheelchairs. A lift, breakfast not so close to rooms. The sofa bed where my kids slept was very uncomfortable. The beds were very hard.mosquitos in the room during our stay which made it difficult to sleep.

By Plane:

From Venice's Marco Polo Airport:
- Take the Alilaguna water bus to San Zaccaria (Piazza San Marco).
- From San Zaccaria, follow Calle delle Rasse, which you will see on your left.
- When you come to Salizada di San Provolo, turn left towards Campo S.S. Filippo e Giacomo.
- Continue on in Calle di Rio della Chiesa and, after crossing the bridge, take Calle Castagna.
- After a short distance, you will come to Ruga Giuffa: immediately turn left, cross the bridge and you will find yourself in Campo Santa Maria Formosa. The hotel will be in front of you, opposite the church.

Alternatively, you could take a water taxi or the Venezia ATVO bus, which will bring you to Piazzale Roma in 20 minutes. For directions from Piazzale Roma, see below.

By Train:

- Leave the station and take vaporetto number 1 or number 82 to the Rialto Bridge.
- Alight and ask for Campo San Bortolo. From there, turn into Calle della Bissa and continue right for Salizada San Lio.
- After approximately 100 meters, turn left for Calle del Mondo Nuovo.
- When you cross the bridge, you will find yourself in Campo Santa Maria Formosa. The hotel will be in front of you, opposite the church.

By Car:

From the Tronchetto:
- Once you have parked your car, take water Bus number 82.

From Piazzale Roma:
- Park your car and take Water Bus number 1 or number 82 to the Rialto.
- Having arrived at the Rialto stop, proceed on foot for Campo San Bortolo, Calle della Bissa and Salizada San Lio.
- After about 100 meters, turn left into Calle del Mondo Nuovo.
- When you cross the bridge, you will find yourself in Campo Santa Maria Formosa. The hotel will be in front of you, opposite the church.
