The staff were fantastic: friendly, obliging, and went the extra mile whenever we asked for anything. The hotel is small but our room was quite large. The whole place is well kept, comfortable and, coupled with the warm service, has a very homely feel. It is 2 mins walk to St. Marks Sq and about 4-5 mins walk to the Rialto Bridge. Having said that, the street is not a throughway so no crowds passing by. Perfect!.
all reviews » The layout is such that all of our three rooms were a few steps from where the owner or other staff were seated. They were very attentive to our needs, We came in two groups and both needed help finding the place. In both cases the staff found us and guided us to the hotel. We recently stayed at the Ca' Del Nobile appartments in July 2013 on our first ever trip to Italy. It was great! The stuff were very friendly and helpfull, the facilities were good. Thank you for making our first Italy trip really unforgettable. Ms. Vita is the shining star of this hotel. She greeted us with a piece of home-made cake and a cappuccino! Perfect location, super friendly staff, super clean and cosy. Absolutely nothing to complain about. A wonderful place to stay. A very stylish hotel with very attentive and helpful staff. I intend to stay here again when I return to Venice and would not hesitate in recommending Ca Del Nobile to my friends. The hotel has an excellent location in the heart of San Marco. We loved the complimentary bar fridge well stocked with free soft drinks and water; a nice touch. Breakfast was exactly the same everyday and, in my opinion, there was not enough of it. Bad news if you don't like marmalade-filled croissants! A bit of daily variety wouldn't go a miss. We had a non-functioning faucet in our bathroom that stayed that way throughout our visit because the replacement part had to come from England. it would have been great to have a bit larger TV with a couple of English channels :). nothing. Nothing!. Nothing - couldn't fault it. reception area was up a lot of narrow steps. outside door was left unlocked a lot of the time. It was a little hard to locate. Nothing really... I stayed in a few hotels in Venice and if you are doubting which one to take, I have to say this one is a great choice!. Bathroom was small. Shower is too small!. Very expensive compared to what it offers. But it is a common thing in Venice. No down side. Our air-conditioner dripped so that the floor into the bathroom was soaked and we had to use our towels to prevent slipping. The dripping was irritating during the 2 nights so we didn't use it. The security safe was out of order.
