  This was an excellent choice on a research trip to University. Fantasic atmosphere on the Thursday night when I arrived as new Pope had been installed and church bells were ringing.   It is a very good place to stay. Though it is a bit far from the city there are frequent buses which takes you to this place. The staffs were very friendly.   The hotel was in a good location for travellers with a car. A short walk (downhill) into the centre if no car, but need taxi back up! Very well maintained and our room was beautifully furnished, comfortable and clean. The host was extremely friendly and welcoming. This was the best hotel (of 4) during our stay in Northern Italy.   We stayed on the recommendation of one of our family who had stayed at the Villa acouple of years ago. We were not disappointed, the Villa has a quirky charm and is run by the family who, with their staff, were very friendly and attentive.   Hotel Vela was very close to Trento and with our rental car, it was convenient. It was a little difficult to find the hotel at first due to the road construction but just follow the signs.   I have booked the room to share with a friend and I found it great that each bed was divided by a door (which gave us a lot of privacy) and each part of the room had its own sink. Very clean, the best possible location in town (you are literally in Piazza Duomo) and you can feel it's a family business.   Nice place - great spacious bedroom in the loft. Great location in terms of proximity to train station, town centre, features in town, access to the river and the mountains etc. Terrific breakfasts as well. - A beautiful space, I would have liked to stayed for several more days.
