The Management and staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms are all from facing and have a wonderful view over 2 bay and to Mount Vesuvius. The room were bit basic but clean and very comfortable also had clean towels every day. A ten minute walk into the center of Sorrento. The breakfast was continental with a few different options, i am Coeliac and they had food to suit that. The pool is great very clean and again front facing over the sea. Also has free car parking. I would definitely stay.
all reviews » At first sight, we were we were disappointed with the rather basic room. However, as soon as we saw the huge terrace, overlooking the Bay of Naples, we forgot about the room. (Who needs luxury with a view like that??). The hotel was exactly what we were looking for - perfect location, clean, friendly staff, free wifi at all times and great pool. The hotel is perched on the cliffs about one kilometre from the Sorrento town centre. From our private balcony the views of the harbour, town and mt. Vesuvius are breathtaking. The hotel will keep your bottle of white wine cold until evening when you take it back to your balcony and disengage from the days activities..of which there are many. I really enjoy the family hotel. The staff and the owner was amazing, Ask for the cake of Stephano in the morning... The city and the boutiques are very close. Also visit and add a bit on the sea side at the port. As I told every one at Settimo Cielo, I will shorly go back! Chiao. The balcony was fabulous! We spent all our time enjoying the view. The fact that the room was a little outdated was of no consequence. The dining area for breakfast had a great view as well. We walked to restaurants and into town. Staff was very helpful. Bathroom was tiny. breakfast selection on the boring side; location requires longer walk to city center. the air-conditioner in the room has a rather loud rattle, so it needed to be turned off during the night which wasn't ideal. The website did not tell me to bring beach towels for the pool, so I had to buy some. The towels were unusual, in that they are more like sheets, but did the job nevertheless. A little expensive but you pay for the view !. no shuttle service for bus or railway station the lock of the room doors should be changed because too noisy especially when people oopen in the night. The room that they first tried to give us in the old tired I renovated section. bed was a little too hard - i little bit tired in need of renovation - no pool towels. could only stay four nights. As seen before on feedback the towels are still paper thin ,and the rooms and hotel could do with a little TLC. felt for price should have double or queen bed, not 2 twins put together swimming pool was nice towels were like table cloths. There was almost no space or place for us and for the luggage. Poor breakfast low uality products. The bed was very hard and the TV was very outdated. The towels are old fashion.
