Breakfast buffet was excellent; I wish we had booked a reservation for dinner at the restaurant, but we were so anxious to see the city we did not. The room was lovely (we stayed in #107) but I saw #105 and it was even more lovely. Quiet, so you can sleep late and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom (ensuite) was newly renovated an spacious, excellent water pressure with great shower.

This villa is a winery and the wine tour and tasting is excellent and half price if you are staying at the Villa. Very happy we stayed outside of Siena as it was very hot in the city, but cool at the Villa. Great views over Siena at night. Highly recommended. Beautiful historic villa just out of Siena with magnificent views of Tuscan countryside. Staff very helpful and friendly - had a complimentary guided tour of property and wine tasting which was fascinating and wine excellent. Went out of their way to help us and suggest great places to visit in the region. Would highly recommend that everyone consider Villa Cambi. loved it all. The hospitality was really great, we arrived at 6 pm and already at 7.15 we had a tour through the winery, followed by a degustation. The villa is really close to Siena city center, but nevertheless you feel like somewhere in the countryside. Strong recommendation. It's really wonderful place for those who like a beauty of countryside or would simply like to escape out of the city for a moment. It is easy to find the place if follow the road directions provided by the hotel staff. Excellent place. There was anything we could complain. You should also ask for wine tasting and guided tour of the local wine production. Breakfest was for additional 5 Euros and it was absolutely worth the money. The place was beautiful. The staff and owners were very nice. They were concerned about my mom. The wine was good. It was one of my favorite stays on our month long trip. We stayed here after having been to Pisa for the day, and on our way to Florence, so we arrived late, and left early, but one could have enjoyed it longer. Breakfast could have more choices, you have to take it in the hallway. But on the other side it's only 5,--euro per person. Nothing to complain about at all. Wifi in our apartment didn't work but could use the office. The only downside was having to drive into siena and if you walk to the local Osteria make sure you take a decent phrase book! It is lovely but you have no idea what you are getting. a bit cold in the room. We didn't mind but some people might not realize the distance to Siena and would probably need their own car to save on taxi expenses. Beds were not comfortable, this is the only thing that needs to be improved. Breakfast was average. loved it all. The villa room was looking old (we didn't stay there but the real reason was it looked unsafe to one of us) but then the room was swapped and the normal room was ok. Thick band black mouldy grout round base of shower. No soap tray in shower. Leak in shower delivery pipe. Tricky coffee machine in breakfast room - staff time explaining and recharging it better spent making coffee traditional way. Awful promotional loop video playing on big screen during breakfast jarred terribly with general ambience.
