The surroundings are really beautiful, especially if you want a taste of the Toscana countryside. It is not far from the center of SIENNA when you have a car.The owner of this family house is a typical italien mom, very tentive and eager to please. The breafast was nice. Located at the centre of the Tuscany area, the hotel provides great views with decent facilities for our pleasant stay. the staff were very helpful and the resturant provided great food of Tuscany cooking. This was the best stay of our two weeks' trip to Italy.
all reviews » The old farmhouse was beautiful, but most of all we loved the incredible setting, overlooking the fields of Tuscany. The staff was very helpful and the accomodations were very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic!. The manager was really helpful with information. We were also able to check in early, which was really appreciated. The room was a good size and very clean. The Wi-Fi worked really well in the common areas. Great staff, very helpful and friendly. Lovely place/ room/ pool/ breakfast and a chilled place to stay from which you can explore Tuscany by car or easily go into Siena by car/ bus/ taxi. Beautiful views and location. The breakfast was very good. The place is very clean. Scenery. nothing. There is only one staff member who speaks English, and he is not there in late afternoons or on certain days of the week. The location is beautiful and the setting is restful but most guests have a car and the city is about half an hour away. We rode the bus into town, which works pretty well. The bus stop is a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. No major problems. There was a bit of noise from the highway, but nothing to complain about. can hear the main road outside - although it isn't near. Entry from Rt 2 is hard to find and the road has some potholes and about 500 feet of one way w/a couple of blind spots. Nothing negative. The way we were welcomed by the (presumably) owner's son, in a very rude "what-do-you-want?" kind of way. An absolute no-go in this business, even from a German point of view. The other staff was very nice though. You could hear the motorway a bit too loudly and the bathroom had a really bad climate. A little hard to find, but worth the effort. The hotel room was quiet noisy. The highway noise is audible as a constant low noise but not annoying. Breakfast was poor in variety and quantity. Staff serving breakfast was bit strange. It is not easy to find, so navigation is must. Limited opening hours of reception office. Noise from other guests coming and going to adjacent rooms. nothing. nothing. Doors are not sound proof. No availability to purchase groceries near the hotel. Too near to a main road, so rather loud already very early in the morning. No air conditioning. Bed wasn't really comfortable. The beds are not good, my back hurted when I woke up. There is a lot of noice from the big road nearby. The man dressed in black. It is right next to the highway and the echoes from the valley make the sound even more intense and loud.
