We stayed in the separate building (the red one) and we were very satisfied with the room. The location is excellent, in between Lucca and Pisa (app.15 minutes to either of the cities).

The location is fantastic. Peace, quiet, and beautiful views.
Lucca - a magic city by itself - is just nearby. This is my favourite place to go to read and study, and find my inner peace. Almost a sanctuary!
The terrace is a beautifuld place to sit, eat, drink a glass, and digest the beauty of it all.

Marta is so lovely, A wonderful warm hostess. We had a beautiful room with a balcony with views of the green hills surrounding Lucca.
Every room is beautiful. Marta's villa is located an easy short 10 km drive from Lucca with onsite parking.
The breakfast was the best we had in our 4 week tour around France & Italy. Beautiful.
Even the towels & bedlinen were good quality cotton.
We would certainly return to Marta's if ever again in Lucca.

bathroom and brought it to the staff's attention in the morning as

The surroundings were absolutely beautiful. Large warm pool in a big, lush garden setting. Option to eat outdoors at each meal which we did. The room was a good size, excellent bed and the bathroom was modern with a nice bath. The oublic areas, bar and lounges were inviting and the staff were vey attentive. Overall it was fantastic.
