The (genuine) helpfullness of the staff was superb. The closeness to all the tourist attractions - eg 30 m to the Spanish Steps- made exploring the city extremely easy. staff was very helpful. It seems, the location of this small charming hotel (8 rooms and apartments on the second floor) is best possible in Rome. Only 20 meters from the Spanish steps, and at the same time it is very quiet in the rooms (windows facing the yard). The rooms are spacious, cosy and clean.The hotel stuff is very friendly and polite. A lot of the famous sights are situated within a walking distance.

It was just lovely. The view from our balcony of the Piazza di Spagna was fantastic, we loved it!. A very quiet and comfortable hotel with a cardinal site in the absolute best location of the city, among the most fine restaurants and boutiques .Best value for money. I heatedly recommend this hotel. Complimentary beverages was nice. Location to Metro and Spanish Steps was great. Free internet/computer was wonderful. Early check-in was exceptional. Very central, in the middle of main shopping streets.The view and good location. noise from spanish steps...but not too bad once the windows were closed.Said our suite had two bathrooms which we assumed were full bathrooms but one was just a second toilet and sink. It did say on the website that only one of the bathrooms also had a shower but we thought this meant the other bathroom only had a bath. Took longer for 4 of us to get ready each day but not really a problem. Both bathrooms were spotlessly clean and a pleasure to use - everything worked. Breakfast included would be nice. We stayed in 2 other hotels in Rome and they both included breakfast.Sometimes noisy. Walls were very thin!!!. It is expensive. It would be nice to have rates including breakfast, along with one of the several restaurants in the area; as this hotel has no restaurant on on its own.outside noise - lots of people/trash pick-up in early morning into late evening - better sound proofing of windows might help. Some of the rooms face pedestrian street, a bit noisy during the day.To noisy.

Information about the area

The Relais is close to: Piazza del Popolo; Via del Corso; the Trevi Fountain; the Pantheon; Piazza Venezia; the Capitol; the Roman Forum; the Colosseum; Villa Borghese; Villa Medici; and Via Veneto. Only a few minutes away you will also reach the Pincio, the fantastic terrace at the top of the Borghese Gardens, from which you can look out over Rome.

The accommodation is close to a taxi rank and bus stops. You can also reach Trinità dei Monti and the Pincio (Borghese Gardens) by taking the lift inside the entrance to the underground, without having to walk up the Spanish Steps.

Set on the 1st floor of the Pierret building in Piazza di Spagna, the hotel comprises of prestigious double, triple and quadruple deluxe suites; a great choice of elegant, impeccably appointed luxury suites, sleeping from one to 4 people.

Double rooms are approximately 25 m², bathroom included.
Triple rooms are slightly larger at 30 m², bathroom included.
Suites, for 4 people, are 50 m² and have 2 separate double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one of the bathrooms also has a shower). Suites also enjoy a view over the Spanish Square from the balcony.

The rooms are fully equipped with antique furniture and all modern amenities.

In all rooms the beds can be either twin beds or double beds (queen-size).

By air:
From Fiumicino Airport:
Take the train to Termini station (see below for further directions).

From Ciampino Airport:
Take the shuttle to Termini station (see below for further directions).

By train:
From Termini station, take the Metro Line A (red) towards Mattia Battistini to Piazza di Spagna.

By car:
From the North:
- Take the Gran Raccordo Anulare (G.R.A.)
- Exit at Salaria.
- Follow directions for the town centre (Centro).
- Take Porta Pinciana.
- Turn into Via Veneto.

From the South:
- Take the Gran Raccordo Anulare (G.R.A.).
- Join the A24 (Roma-L' Aquila) in the direction of Via Salaria - Via Flaminia.
- Exit at Via Salaria.
- Follow directions to the town centre (centro).
- Take Porta Pinciana.
- Turn in to Via Veneto.

You can park at the Park-Sì. The underground will bring you to Piazza di Spagna.
