I was traveling solo and wanted a well situated accomodation conveniently located and safe. Four Rivers certainly met my needs. Dominico was very gracious, stayed late to welcome me since my flight arrived late evening and made sure I was settled in and had his mobile number in case I needed anything. While my room overlooked the main street, it was very quite with the double glazed windows and at times I enjoyed opening the windows to hear the day and night bustling of Roman life. The acco.
all reviews » I would really recommend Four Rivers as it was in a fantastic location and the staff were brilliant. It was within easy walking distance to all the major sites and luckily for me there was a close by taxi rank, which was helpful, as I was unfortunately on crutches during my stay. Piazza Navona was round the corner and Pantheon 5 minutes more. Campo Di Fiore was across the street and great for food in the evening. Dominico and Andrea couldn't have been more helpful at the desk - even allowing us. Everything. How many plaudits do you want? The staff - Dominico the Manager in particular - there was nothing they wouldn't do for you. The room was always clean and tidy everyday we came back from touring. Nice little touches like a bottle of wine when we arrived to making breakfast for us an hour before the dining room opened to make sure we had so ethnic to eat/drink before our early return flight. Dominico recommended excellent affordable restaurants and what buses to take to get to places . Four Rivers Suites is a gem. Located in the centre of Rome's old town it is perfectly positioned to explore ancient Rome and all of its attractions. Arriving on a Sunday off a cruise we were greeted by Dominico who assisted us with our luggage and checked us in early which we were very happy with so we could begin exploring Rome. Dominica is a charming man who made us feel like we were family coming to stay. He gave us great ideas of where to eat nearby and his advice was always spot on. Locate. My wife and I, both over 65 rented one of their two bedroom apartments. My daughter and two young children joined us. Everything was excellent except the number of stairs to reach the 3rd floor apartment was a bit of a challenge for me due to my knees. The staff was excellent in every way and the location was convenient to most all the main tourist sites. Could walk to most of them within 5 to 45 minutes. The apartment had much charm. I highly recommend the Four Season Suites to families . Incredibly central. We were 6 and it was fine for a couple of days though if you we're staying a week it's more suitable for four. As its so central there is some noise at night from revellers if you have the windows open . Dominica could not have been more helpful or welcoming in making sure we knew exactly where to come and being available by phone all the time that we were there. The customer service was amazing. You can walk easily to most of the central,sites, the bus to th station is at t. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful - full marks here as they made us feel very welcome and did their very best to ensure that our stay was as enjoyable as possible. The rooms were quite basic but were more than adequate being light and modern and very clean. The position was excellent for doing the sights being equidistant between the Vatican and the Coliseum. Very close to the Pantheon and the Four Rivers square. Breakfast was adequate with a mixture of cold meats, cheeses, fr. It is a very nice place, very well located, you can walk to touristic points. it is very, very good. I did not use taxi or public transport for visiting the city. If you need the bus station is in front of the place and there's a 24h taxi point less than 1 min walking. The staff is totally kind and very helpfull. Domenico is a gentleman, the perfect host. I enjoyed so much to be there. The room was perfectly clean, the bed is comfortable. I really enjoyed my time there. Simply perfect. The location was excellent, within walking distance of the Vatican and Ancient Rome. It also felt like a neighborhood, rather than a tourist area. With a baker and 2 restaurants on our block. But it was not a big problem. The place and the staff are so nice that it was irrelevant. No disadvantages. Everything was perfect. we loved everything. Nothing. Everything perfect... I thought it was quite expensive for what was a very simple bedroom and en-suite. My bedroom was located right next to the reception desk so a bit noisy in the mornings. can't think of anything. Noisy at night. But the city centre location makes peace and quiet unlikely!. 76 stairs plus landings as lift is in other building not this one . No dryer.. The pull out bed not comfortable. Positives out way negatives staying here if you appreciate value for position. Parking in street was only until 7 --car had to be moved for overnight parking. Really not a problem. Our apartment was on the third floor which meant LOTS of steps. Nothing to complain about - well done to everyone at Four Rivers!. The room and bathroom were a bit basic and we had problems with the wifi. Had a few mornings with cold showers, but not the end of the world!. Breakfast included was not what we had at other apartments where we could go to a dining room. Juice, milk coffee and packaged crackers included. Positioned over 2 cafes, very convenient but very noisy. Ok for good sleepers or those with ambien :). wifi signal was very weak in our room. Wifi doesn't work well for multiple devices. Room is a little bit small. Breakfast a bit average, same food wrapped up and put in fridge for next day again. the room was too small, you pay basically the location, but it worth it. Of 3 out of 5 days we did not have hot water to shower. Staff advised and guaranteed that will have hot water next day: it did not worked!. It seems that for breakfast they have only moka coffee and not espresso nor cappuccino. However it is not a big issue. Our air conditioner was not very good, but as we were only staying two nights we managed. There was no wifi available, in contrary to the data on Booking.com!. To many keys to use to get inside the hotel. It is not worth the extra money for a room with a balcony. The balcony had no table or chairs and it was in the mid 90's every day...so too hot to enjoy it. Our room faced an extremely busy road and the noise from cars, buses, motorcycles, and loud/intoxicated people kept us up every night. The mattress was uncomfortable and had large sections that were sunk in where people had previously slept. The walls are a little thin.
