This hotel costs about half what a comparable room in nearby hotels cost. The difference is that there is no full-time desk clerk in a lobby here. The manager meets you to give you the keys and make sure you're properly settled in, then you're on your own (with his cell number to call if there are any problems--which there were not, during our stay). The room was spacious (by European standards), the bed was comfortable, and everything was very clean. I have no complaints.

Marco was extremely friendly, organised transport from the airport which was wonderful as our plane was delayed and arrived very late. He gave us all the information and map of Rome that we needed to see and enjoy our stay. The host Marco was very friendly, nice and polite and made a very nice gesture to congratulate us our honeymoon with a bottle of wine. The room was comfortable and clean, and the location was great. We really felt like we were living in Rome in a nice central apartment. Would definitely recommend it!. i liked the rooms spacious and airy and good location although rome is small and if you stay in the city you can walk to all landmarks if you are anyway mobile but good location and safe as near presidents residence.staff/owners were very nice and friendly and helpful. Great location, walking distance to the all main attractions, particularly Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. Marco was very helpful, giving us tips on how to travel around the city and giving us recommendations for restaurants. Easy to come and go as you pleased. First we missed such things as laundry service, but with the help of the host we located quite a cheap laundry place close to the building, so it was not really a problem. no breakfast is provided not even cofee tea facilities or fridge for your own stuff and rooms are roughly 80 odd a night.reception hours are limited and no wake up service exists. Shower temperature was medium. World's smallest shower. A large person would have trouble getting in. The rooms are inside of a suite - this got noisy when someone was checking in late at night. Would have been nice to have minimal facilities like a kettle and mini fridge. quite loud toillet mechanisme, the room wasn't soundproof so you could hear anybody coming in or out in the morning/evening (though the other guests or not that loud). Very small shower cabinet. Pity, that i've seen Marco only once)). There was cold weather in Rome during our holiday and the room was not really well warmth. Of course speaking as an American, the smaller than I like shower that is typical I Italy. The shower was very small. It was quite cold during the night as the heating system was off (the owner was absent due to family reasons). Also, probably due to this, the check-in was a bit problematic. For my experience, the hotel was overrated on letsbookhotel.com.
