Great location. Entrance directly from the square. The hotel has no sign, you need to call the bell marked "B&B Maggiore".The windows of our room was faced to the church Santa Maria Maggiore. All major attractions locate within 15-20 minutes walk distance. Five minute walk in a straight line from Termini Station. There is an open late supermarket A lot of places with a simple and delicious cheap food. Rooms are small but have everything you need. Cleaning every day and change towels. Some .

The hotel was in a very good location, close the main train station, Termini and Colosseum. The room and bathroom was big, had a fridge and a fan, without this we had not survived Rome in July. You get your own key to the hotel so you don't have to wait for a receptionist. The location was very central just in front of the Santa Maggiore Square. Many resturants around the hotel. Close to Termini station, room were spacious. Improve bedding and facilities. Sink in the shower does not work properly. No wireless internet and no breakfast which is a bit odd when you book a B&B. Also the room was not as clean as other B&B's we stayed in Rome. A final concern was the state of the electricity network which was really old and potentially dangerous?!. Extra bed wasn't comfortable. Exceptionally hard to find. Had expected to see a sign for it, but eventually found a bell to ring amongst approximately 40 other bells in a building which appeared to be apartments. There was no other signage for B&B Maggiore. Not much to dislike. Called a B and B but didn't include breakfast. No wifi in the rooms. It was a little noisy, and also the hot drink machine swallowed my money!!!. No hot water for two of the four days.The first and last. No wifi in the room only in the lounge. We had requested a room with aircondition, that you had to pay extra for. But the hotel's one room with this option was not available. We made due with the fan. The reception is only open from 14-19 everyday (But you get a key) There was noice from the street at night. The cleaning standard was not great. The wi-fi didnt work in the room. Had to go down to the reception to connect to free wi-fi. The supplies (toilet rolls, soap, towels) were not supplied every day. I did not like the comfort and the room was very poor in space. room was diametrically different on the pictures and very small. The bed was to small. Check in was 1 hour late, it's NOT a B&B as their is no breakfast available, the room had exposed pipes and wires as it not finished with construction, staff did not offer to help with luggage even if reception was on the 1st floor and the room on the 3rd. It's a multi purpose building so it's very noisy in the mornings. And our room stank of molded pipes and damp in the bathroom, also their was no hot water for all the rooms on our floor. Bedding , facilities , bathroom and wifi not in room.
