This hotel exceeded our expectations. We were in the studio unit at Via Del Pellegrino 86 (separate building, just down the street from their main location - two other units at this location as well). The king bed was comfortable, and the room was pretty large by European standards. We also had an in-room safe, small dining table, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and dishes / utensils. We went to the supermarket (1 block away) and enjoyed some snacks / wine in the room after each day of sights.
all reviews » We`ve stayed there for 5 days in November. The owner speaks english and italian, the girl who brought us breakfasts speaks italian and russian a little. We lived in the separated building in via del Pellegrino, I think it`s even better. Campo dei fuori is in 2 mins, Vatican in 15 mins (if you walk with normal speed), piazza Navona and Pantheon in 10 mins. Breakfast was ok - big cup of coffee or whatever you want, toasts and croissant, also there was a lot of butter and jam in the frige. There . The entire experience of Azzurra was absolutely fantastic! I'm so glad I researched on this web site before coming to Rome and found this little gem. It is a fully furnished apartment with a living room/kitchen and separate large bedroom. The staff were the most helpful I have experienced in all my travels. For example, I was having trouble getting the wireless connection in the apartment and they had a brand new router set up just for our apt. The next day! They are not on- site, but you can c. Location was a big plus. There was a carrefour express downstairs so we could get our supplies easily. Beds were comfortable and we slept well. Although our unit was on the 2nd floor and face the main road, the noise didn't bother us at all. The girl who served our breakfast did a very good job cleaning our apartment. There was no kettle in the apartment so we asked to borrow one. We requested the apartment manager to arrange for taxi transfer on our day of arrival. My bag was misplaced. The location is superb within 10 mins walking distances to vatican, piazza navona, campo fiori and some 20 mins to colosseum and trevi and 25 mins to spanish steps. It is nice to be able to come back between attractions for rest. Elena is very kind and helpful. Azzurra apartment is very suitable for family as it has space and cooking facilities. Carrefour express is downstairs for groceries shopping. We did some light cooking which saved money and is convenient. Taxi stand is 5 mins near ch. We were housed in a two bedroom apartment, where we shared kitchen/living and bathroom. Breakfast was included and upon waking up a very kind lady was waiting on the hallway to make us a nice coffee. In the other room were a mum and daughter who were on a city trip as well - many attractions on walking distance - Vatican on 10 minutes walking - close to many very nice piazza's (squares) with many restaurants - Many bus lines on 30 seconds walk incl bus to Colosseum I will definitely go here ag. Everything! The location was perfect! It was centrally located so all major sites were within walking distance. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, they make sure all of your needs are met. Breakfast is served in your own apartment and you also can custome order your morning coffee (cappuccino, espresso, hot chocolate etc.). Oh and the beds are extremely comfortable and extra pillows are provided!. Great location, close enough to walk everywhere in Rome! Bus stop is just outside the building. Although on the busy Corso Vittorio Emanuele, one can hardly hear any noise. Very friendly staff,spacious and very clean rooms, nice breakfast included - croissant, jam, butter, toasts, yogurts. Kitchen is fully equipped, convenient if travelling with kids! Great value for money!. The location is superb to access historical sites and those that are a little further away can be accessed by public transport right outside the front door. The apartment has a kitchenette and washing machine so it is very convenient if you want to eat in and also not waste time looking for laundry facilities. This is centrally located with all attractions within a 20-30min walk. Soundproofed - very little noise heard from the main street it is located on. Will definitely stay here again. No ladle for soup. - no air conditioning in bedroom, kitchen/living was nice and cool, but we had a bit difficulty sleeping on the last night, after a 35 degree day. Truthfully the street noise could be a little loud but we were so tired from site seeing that we hardly noticed and our children didnt notice at all. I would think this is something to be expected in the midde of a large city. Not all pictures on the walls were to our taste :)). I cannot find fault with these apartments! !. Nothing!!. Nothing. Location was somewhat confusing because the address listed on letsbookhotel.com is their offices. The apartments themselves are down the street. Everything else well exceeded our expectations. The bed was very large but turned out to be two twin beds put together, which reduced comfort in the centre. The mattress was hard. Because we left at 7:30 am, we did not get the complementary breakfast. We snacked on crackers and jam left there instead, but the staff left no utensils to eat. We made do, but this oversight bugged us a little. Maybe the breakfast was not the best, but still not bad to be included in an apartment. the apartement is at second floor. Kids beds were not so comfortable for teenagers. Can't think of anything. If we had wanted to do more cooking then perhaps there was not enough equipment, cutlery , not even cups or mugs for tea until we asked for them. Breakfast was adequate but bread or pastry only. No fruit, eggs, cheese etc. Apartment stairs always smelling from the down caffe-bar. Any english spoken channell on tv. Not having a microwave in the room and no english channels to watch any news such as C.N.N. at least. the aircondition did not wark well and the appartment is more suited for 3 than 4 people but possible for 4 too. Initially a little challenging to find. Only a small brass sign at doorway, to advise apartment located on 2nd floor. Once located fine, staff in attendance & very safe & secure. Tv channels limited to a few Italian stations, Internet worked only briefly, water heater needed to be reset. Rooms were clean & we were happy with everything, but visitors do need to realize that this is not a fancy hotel. Breakfast wasn't too exciting. apartment did not have many facilities for staying for a week eg no jug to boil water for a drink and minimal cutlery if wanting to eat in. Nothing really. noice from street. They tried to say I could not pay by credit card and had to use cash because the card machine was down After telling them there was no way I was paying cash when they accept cards the machine magically started to work. THE entrance was not good. Noise at night from the street, some items were missing like forks.
