Barbara and Stephen were wonderful hosts. They explained how to easily move around the city. The room was very large and clean. Desktop computer in rooms. Mini refrigerator along with coffee pot(heat water only) Breakfast, though consisted of only a roll and cappuccino, it was very good. Quiet neighborhood, near police station. Building was quiet. Able to sleep without interruptions. And last but most importantly...Location, Location, Location.
all reviews » The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They really made us feel really welcome. As soon as we arrived they highlighted and recommended all the great places to visit and also the best ways to get there which was great for us. The facilities were good for the price we paid and the location was spot on - we couldn't have chosen a better place - right next to the Colosseum!. We stayed in this B&B for 3 nights. Location is just perfect, close to many bus stations, metro station, Colosseo. Room is quiet small, but you will spend there only nights, so it’s ok. Hosts are very friendly and helpful, they will give you all touristic information and help to book some museums. We enjoyed staying there very much!. The location was great, and the service was amazing..the gentle man at the counter gave us so much help advice about visiting the ruins and colosso, how to avoid long lines ect...he also told us which metros and bus lines we wanted to use to get around the city (very very helpful) since it wast first time in Rome. Liked the location a lot...very close to the Colosseum. A must stay at this place. All the info you need will be provided by the nice gentlemen. Rooms are small but clean and equipped. Very good. How close it was to the Colloseo and being right next to the Police station made it so safe. The Staff were so friendly and helped us with tourist spots and where to go. Nothing....just the breakfast could have been better. Its just bread and coffee. Breakfast was just one pastry so mostly I didn't bother. It wouldn't be difficult to provide a little more - perhaps a bowl of fruit and some yoghurts. Breakfast was very basic. Maybe they should reduce the rate and not provide it. The 2 twin mattresses to make a queen. But I think that's an Italy thing, cause the other place we stayed at was the same way. Breakfast. nothing. Poor breakfast (like in Italy), hard to find, small room, quite expensive. Poor wireless signal. Breakfast is quite limited with only one bread plus tea or coffee. I had to open the shower doors to pick up the soap. cleaning supplies need to be stored away from hall. Breakfast was poor. Breakfast was very disappointing. TV italian only. Internet access in room unbearably slow. The room was bad and old.Especially, the bathroom was a dump.It was small,old, with a broken flash - i still have not figured out how it worked-.I can not forgive myself that i gave 74 euros for this place. Fortunately, i stayed only one night.After all these fantastic reviews, i could not believe my eyes.Maybe i was given the worst room. Whatever. The walls were paper thin and we could hear everything happening in the corridor and reception outside. The breakfast was laughable. It wasn't even a croissant but 2 plain white rolls each. The second day we got the same, but stale. When we questioned where the croissants were, we were told they were 'finished'. I'm also puzzled as to why the location scores so well. It's near the colusseum but personally if I went again I'd have preferred to be more central in the city.
