I very much liked the simple, un-fussy atmosphere, like an old fashioned pensione; the situation was superb, with the Pantheon outside my window. But I thought it was too expensive for what it was - €170 a night is a lot for a very unpretentious place. Fantastic room, not in the actual hotel. View of Panthenon, wow! Good security.the location. location - cleanliness.

My son who stayed there in Oct 07 hadrecommedned this hotel to me. The outlook from our window onto the Piazaand the Pantheon was great. The highlight was our last night in Romereturning to our room from dinner, openning our window and watching andlistening to the tenor busker serenading the alfresco diners in thePiaza. Brilliant!!. Service was excellent and location was brilliant - next to Pantheon. The location was excellent and great view. Great location, clean. Centre of City. Tremendous location on Piazza Rotonda with a view of the Pantheon. view and staff and location. The hotel has an extremely convenient location. Although small, the room was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'll use this hotel again when I'm in Rome. the location. the stairs!!. no english tv stations at all. The entrance was on the ground floor and you to get to the elevator with your luggage to the first floor you had to traverse a small stairwell and carry your own luggage up to the elevator. Arriving and departing may represent challenges to someone with lots of luggage. Bathroom and room a little smalll but for the price and position,who cares.Quite highly priced for basic hotel - not many services other than room and the room was very small. However, location made up for this. The room was too small and breakfast had to be taken at a bar nearby. The room seemed a bit cramped for the price. However, that could be true of European hotels, in general. I'm not sure. lack of hot water. 1)More attention could be paid to cleaning the rooms. My telephone, for example, was very dusty. 2) Breakfast offered was a very sweet pastry and coffee at a nearby bar for which vouchers are issued. Some choice of breakfast would be nice. many! the breakfast was the worst i have ever had, served by the surliest waiters ever (and the hotel staff admit it is terrible), the room's aircon wasnt working and we requested it get fixed 3 times but it wasnt, and the room only gets serviced every 3 days apparently - what the? all this for 170euros/night....
