Generally comparing to the other hotels where I've been - one of the best for quality/price.   The Amalfi hotel is situated within walking distance of the main railway station and is great for making it an easy two stop holiday which is what we did. It is also within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. The beautiful Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore Church is just across the road. The staff are very friendly and helpful, giving out maps and marking all the places of interest o - My favourite thing about Amalfi by far was the absolutely lovely and wonderful lady who runs the breakfast buffet. She obviously takes so much pride in her work and is so friendly, bubbly and full of energy every morning. She goes to extra lengths to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated and gives a veritable tour of the buffet when the guests come in! What a lovely lady, thank you so much.

  the staff were amazingly helpful!! and it was literally a 5minute walk to the colloseum and all major site of interest!! we walked the whole time we were in rome and nothing was to much for the staff. we were lent books for reading and were advised to see other parts of rome that were not conventional but extremely beautiful, we were so glad that w... what people say » e didnt miss out on anything. - Our stay at Aenea was just wonderful. The location was great (very close to Termini train station and all other sightseeing spots.) and the room was very clearn. Our luggage arrived late (due to the airline mistake) and the owner of Aenea was kind enough to stay late in the evening to wait for it to help us. We give the highest rating for the hotel.
