The hotel was very comfy and the staff (hotel owners/family) were very welcoming, friendly and helpful! - The owners are very-very friendly and helpful. The Hotel is very close to the beach. The garden is beautiful, and the room was nice and tidy.

We have Traveled a lot in Europe and we found family run hotels are always well run, and this was no exception. 3. Staff was extremely, we repeat extremely helpful in solving some problems we had, also assisting us with other matters.   We were staying in the off season for a half marathon. The key reason we chose Solemare was price and location. The value for price ratio is excellent; we had a reasonably comfortable room, the location was right on the beach, it was a 2km walk to the start/finish of the race, and breakfast was fine - not spectacular, but, again, very appropriate ... what people say » given price/value relationship. The staff was quite helpful and the parking was free. I would stay here again. - Location is excellent, right on the beach. There are allocated spaces on the beach for each room. Breakfast and Evening meal both OK but not fantastic. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Rooms were small but adequate, we had air conditioning in our bedroom which is essential. Temperatures were reaching 35 and it was only June.
