The warm welcome received from the staff. skyline, confort, silence, w-fi. The view from the lobby and the dining/breakfast room were incredible. (My single room had no view.) The location was a bit far from everything--you can walk down to the Mergelina area quite easily, but going back up is a steep climb. Taxis always wait outside, though. I like this location better than the historic center area, where I stayed alone another time (and felt vulnerable).

We were caught out twice with this.Access to public transport (via Funicular) was easy but was not indicated on the details of the hotel and taxi services were expensive. The restaurant is not very good. The breakfast is not great at all and the dinner menu is overpriced and a bit simplistic. No pool and nothing to do in the hotel.The menu was limited and difficult to understand. There was no pool or open area for sitting. The location is too bad. It takes around 30 minutes to walk down the mountain and reach the metro station. Then it takes another 10 minutes to reach the city center or main trainstation. Another option is taking a taxi. However, we took taxi several times, all taxi drivers want cheat us (one ask 50 euro for 5 minutes drive). rooms are extremely outdated and urgently need to be refurbished.They are impolite to Japanese customers. They show me into a roomlighting-dimly lit room.
