Great location, just a few meters from waterbus stop, friendly andhelpful staff. friendly environment and location. Clean, quiet hotel with helpful staff. Murano is an interesting and attractive island with a good waterbus service to Venice itself, takes about 10 min and is part of the fun. The service runs all night but at reduced frequency. The Faro stop is about 1 min walk from the hotel, Collonna (where Airport waterbus stops) about 5 mins or so. Murano and Venice both feel very safe. all reviews »
The staff were very helpful and the hotel was clean. Even though the hotel was on Murano there were regular boats to Venice island including a night boat.We liked the location: very quiet, but only two minutes from the vaporetto stop of Murano Faro. The atmosphere of this little hotel is charming, the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. This guaranteed a good night's sleep. We will surely return some day. Nice hotel on a relaxing Island. Easy access to the main Venice Islands (10 mins by boat).Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was large and clean. Breakfast was good. Murano is only 5 minutes to venice on the water bus and the first stop for the alilaguna airport boat. Would definately consider this hotel again. helpful and friendly staff, The hotel offered a comfortable bed and room and is only a 50m walk to the water boat station. Very convenient to get to the main tourist spots, shopping and bars.It is a quiet place just few steps away from the sea bus station, it is easy to reach and the owners of the hotel are very friendly. Minor negative points, heating in hotel room in November was somewhat lacking and we would have liked to have been able to make a hot drink. We only found one eating place in Murano open until 8-9 pm. Also Venice and Murano are very expensive--but we had a great time and would go back tomorrow!. I have no complaints at all about the hotel, it was better than expected however Murano had nowhere to eat in the evenings as everything seemed to close at 5ish. This meant we had to go back to Venice to eat in the evenings which was fine but it would have been nice on one or two evenings to eat closer to the hotel.This is not a critique of the hotel since it pertains to the island of Murano and we read it in the guests' comments but didn't really believe it: all the restaurants and bars on Murano are closed in the evenings. Very unusual for Italy ... but of course the vaporetto is operating all through the night so you always have the option to go to Venice if you are not too tired. The Hotel area itself was quiet with little life in the evening. The rooms had thin walls and so can here other guests coming in and out of their rooms or walking down the stairs.It will take you at least one hour to get to Venezia if you take the wrong boat. They folded back the towels while we were gone. How am I supposed to know which towel is which if they fold them?! They should have changed the towels if they wanted to mess with them.Since the hotel is located in Murano island, from 21h00 the only connection with the main island was made only through "Fondamenta Nuove", that is a little bit far to reach by foot at the end of the day.
