We were very pleased with the Windsor Hotel Milano and found it to be the nicest hotel that we stayed in during our touring of Italy. We really hated to leave. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the hot buffet breakfast was excellent. The staff was very helpful, and we were able to store our luggage on the day we checked out, while we did some additional site seeing before catching our train.
all reviews » We were only able to stay for 1 night, but it was the most comfortable bed we had slept in during our stay in Europe, our flight was late getting into Milano, check-in was no problem even after 12am, the bar tender was very helpfull, as we needed a night cap after a day of sight seeing and flights. We will stay in the same hotel and recomend it to everyone we know who needs to stay in Milano.Wonderful location, close to the central station Milano Centrale (7min by walk), where one get get trains to Venice, Florence or buses to Malpensa/Bergamo airports; nice clean room. I stayed here for the second time, no regrets :). The check-in and check-out was very easy.The hotel itself was safe and the room we got was excellent,couldn't be better.Also breakfast was very good. I arrived very late in the night (2.30 am), due to a delay in my flight. The parking lot was closed and I had to park my car on the street. That meant that I had to wake up at 8.00 in the morning to move my car. Is it possible to have a car parking available 24/24?. They hadn't switched on the aircon which meant opening windows which was then very noisy.With windows closed moise was not a plroblem. Tram line is very close from the building so if noise really concerns you, this may spoil your experience somewhat.bathroom very small. Could do with more choice for breakfast if we had to nit pick!. No, All was excellent. Noise. The room I was given was noisy because of the tram which waspassing undernith my room.Our room faced the big street were the tram passed so it was pretty noisy during night time. Reception excellent at their job but rather unfriendly. A smile costs nothing.The English level of the staff was not on high level.
