all reviews » The Hotel was perfect. Everything from the service and staff to the rooms was brilliant. Wonderful breakfast, very warm welcome and attitude from the stuff. From the first moment we felt the smell of the fresh bakery and vanilla which was accompanied by a wonderful coffee. The situation is perfect just a few minutes' walk from via Manzoni and Duomo. The rooms were clean, comfortable and big. The design was fashionable and welcoming. We will for sure come back! :))). The design of reception room, kitchen and my room was quite well. I liked the attitude of the staff and friendly atmosphere. The same should be said about the breakfast -- in the morning you wake up and feel the smell of fresh baking and vanilla, and now you are skipping a hurry to the dining room for a meal and a cup of coffee :))). En-suite bathroom that always had hot water, bunk-beds situated so that you can't hear the other person tossing in their sleep!, Breakfast (pastries and an instant coffee dispenser), and wifi. Decor in the lobby was quite nice too, and the night staff was super friendly. Sheets included, and easy to walk to from Milano Centrale!. Stylist hostel and a great designed lobby, corridor. Good and large room we have. Air-condition also available at room. Unfortunately, we have to check out early so we can have the breakfast here. Also, it's close to the Turati Metro station and should be walkable to the city center's attractive such as Milan Duomo. Great location with frieldly and helpful staff. I would say this is the perfect out of the way yet central backpacker spot to explore Milan. The neighborhood is quiet yet very very close to everything; theres a great grocery store just a short walk from there, also a pizza place and the metro. Nice wellcome by the staff, nice rooms (even the views), plugs inside the lockers, warm atmosphere (both the staff and the building itself) Nice and wide 8-people rooms (with 3 baths). Rooms for 4 people have also in-suite bath and easy access to upper beds. Pretty close to main city spots,. Walls were super thin, so heels down the hallway and drunken conversations will wake you if you are a light sleeper. Towels/toiletries are 5 euros. Nothing at all... its great overall, but they could maybe have more things to use in the kitchen... Breakfast included was only a croissant and you can take coffe from a coffe-maker. Weak WIFI signal in some rooms, but works just fine at reception and first floor, common room and kitchen. You will need a towel (or pay for it) They should reconsider about charging for luggage before check-in or after check-out. I think its quiete expensive if you just arrive a couple of hours earlier or would like to visit the town after check-out because your flight leaves in the evening. During my two-night stay the bathroom was not cleaned so by the end it was kind of nasty... The breakfast could have been a bit better. The coffee machine was old and the pastry burned. You have to pay 4 euros for every piece of luggage you leave in the luggage room!. Bathroom didn't have a lockable door despite it being a mixed dorm. Everything has an additional cost - towel €8! Luggage storage €4 per piece, key deposit €10. There was a lack of atmosphere very sterile. The breakfast you are advised 1 coissant and 1 drink from the machine. Very basic facilities. Pay extra for towels and soap. No room service. Breakfst service awful. It was not very clean, dust in the bathroom. The breakfast was a bit poor: coffee and croissant. The breakfast, is so poor and if you aren't at least at 8am you dont will find food and the staff didn't replace it. None. The check-in time is 2 pm. It is a little bit too late. And you will pay 4 euros if you want to save your luggage. That you had to pay to leave you luggage once you have checked out. Nothing but maybe it will be better if they offer laundry service... The snoring guy in the room that didn't allow anyone else to sleep, although it's not the fault of the hostel. You may however want to pack ear plugs. Dormitory was quite dirty when I checked in, especially the bathroom. When we arrived there we had to wait 1 hour at least to get the keys. It was a little bit unorganized and also about our payment we have got some misunderstanding. I was trying to explain that we have transferred the money through letsbookhotel.com, but they have told us that we did not. Fortunately my mom printed out the history of her bank account so we could prove that we have paid for it. It was inconvenient. Didn't find the free city map in the hostel. No towels. breakfast is only one croissant and one Coffee that's it. There was a issue with a blanket. I didn't take it when I cheked in but at the night I got cold. When I went to the reception and asked for one, they didn't have any left. The receptionist gave me a big towel- better then nothing- but it was still a bit too small. Very scant interior in room, but it`s not too important. It was a little noisy and check out so early - before 11 a.m. They provide sheets and pillow but no towel. It would have been nice to know it before arriving. We got there a few hours early and they made us pay (4 euros per bag) to keep our bags in a back room. Also, you had to pay to rent a towel. I would rather have paid 5 euro more for the room and had the towels included (like the sheets & pillows.). The breakfast is not breakfast: coffee is awful. A little bit noisy in the morning. No towels and blankets.
