An all-time bargain at the price, especially in Milan where you can pay a lot for not much. A converted home with rooms that look like a photo shot, designer touches, high ceilings, spotless and stylish. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful, excellent restaurants nearby. Close to the Cardona station so a 15-minute walk from the Duomo but easy to get there by bus or subway. Family owned & run, very clean well equipped converted house. Wifi, iPod dock, a lot of attention to detail. Husband speaks excellent English, long'ish walk to centre of town but short taxi ride or hire bikes from the city scheme - a lovely way to get around. We were a bit worried about backing onto the railway, but even back room the noise was negligible. Recommended.
