Very friendly and helpful host. A warm welcome. Good location with only a few minutes walk to the nearest underground station. Tried the restaurant called Teresa? The host (thought he is Andronaco) also dined there that night. He even double checked with the restauranteur on what we ordered because we didn't understand Italian. Room was simply but nicely decorated. Clean and tidy, with a private bathroom. Soft drinks could be bought from the vending machine in the corridor at fair price. The mo.
all reviews » Very good location, just 5 minutes walk along Via Piave to the south from metro station Porta Venezia, 50 metres from tram No.9 stop. We were friendly met by owner/staff Winchenco, who gave us a useful city map and explained nice places around to visit. We were satisfied with our room, which was large enough, with small fridge, TV, regulating central heating, air refresher. Shared bathroom with shower was very clean and it was free every time we wanted to use it. We could leave our luggage t. I was unfortunately get robbed at the Milan train station. The police is almost hopeless and it is the hotel owner who kindly saved me. Besides the unlimited kindness of the owner, the hostel is very clean. You will always be able to find someone to help you, cuz they just stay in the next door. The hotel's location is perfect close to tram 9 and metro station. The cost competence is perfect, which you hardly can find any other in the city in this price with simply facilitate and service!. Vincent the owner is very informative, he ensure we know our way around the city the surrounding area is safe and quiet the room is clean, comfortable and the bathroom is spotless tram station is only steps away from the hotel close to shopping area (corso buenos aires) wifi is great the view from the window is good vending machine is located inside the hotel (very convenient when you look for snack and drinks on 2 am in the morning). All the things are perfect in this hostel, so does the owener(staff), who is really helpful for your trip in Milan. There is also a safe box to keep your values which help you sleep well. The only disappointing thing is someone else in this room was snoring very loud. Definitely, this is not the problem of this hostel, it is problem of all hostels. In one word, five star recommend. Vincenzo was extremely hospitable - really nice host and very accomodating - rooms better than expected and city centre only 10 mins walk - managed to get street parking outside after figuring out how to get parking vouchers (from the tabac buy one per hour and scratch off the relevant panels - comically Italian - ie if you park for 6 hours you need 6 scratch cards!! :-)). The owner is extremely friendly, available and gives all the information needed. The structure is small but very clean and comfortable, and for the price paid and the position at 10mins walking from piazza Duomo it is the best choice you can do if you visit the city and need a simple and functional accommodation. But apart from that it was a good stay. The TV reception was poor (with a consistent loud humming sound). Nothing. The price is a little high for me. There is no AC in the room!!!.
