Hotel is really cool!! Our room was fantastic. Breakfast was good, internet facilities and excellent location, just a few minutes walking from SMN train station and main museums and churches. Staff was very friendly. We loved. Excellent room in size and amenities.Good front office staff and excellent night porter who even prepared for us packed breakfasts since we had early departure.

I would also like to have had the use of a security safe.Rooms needed more light, difficult to read and see. Bathroom items need to be checked and replaced daily (soap etc). Rooms need to have facial tissue. there were more steps to go up after the elevator on each floor, if you were at all disabled, this would be a huge problem. It should be explained to the guest or noted in the hotel information. It was located right on the Santa Maria Plaza, so any rooms located on that side of the hotel would get the noise from the 2am partyers while they were trying to sleep. If you happened to get a room that had windows to the other side, no noise was heard.Great staff, met all our needs. Best stay in Italy thus far. Breakfast table arrangement very communal.The double bed was made of 2 single beds which is not unusual but the 2 beds were not properly fixed so we ended up with a space between us. No Safe. I like minimalism, but at least a littel wardrobe would have been nice...No info about hotel facilities etc - didn't even know there was a breakfast room or an internet room until 5 minutes before I left!. Some rooms are very tiny.Obviously the room service didn't realize that the room was occuopied by three persons. Building constructions on plaza in front of the hotel in period Sept. 2008. This is not the fault of the hotel.At breakfast - only a small tray of cheese and ham were bought out at a time - it would have been better to put more out to stop people having to wait. There are not places for clothes. Expensive internet service. There is not safe box in the room and cafe/tea service.The breakfast wasn't too delicious. We were on the 5th floor, however still noisy. Staff are nice but if they were a bit more welcoming it would make aperfect experience. bathrooms. Rooms to small, no closet facilities, no safe deposit boxes at rooms. i had a small but good room, only the shower curtain was not so easy to use, but that`s a small detail. The rooms could use more lighting, rather dark, but still clean and modern. The rooms are too small and very dark, bathrooms have the same issue as well. in a double room we had two separate beds instead of one big. The small beds were wheeled and we couldn't made them stay together. The decor was little off and the size of the bathroom was absolutely ridiculous. We both had a hard time getting in and getting out of the shower!!. I had settled the payment by cash and they thought I didn't pay, thestaff made the mistake that they charged my credit card without mypermission!.
