Very central location, 5 minutes to smn train station and 5 minutes to Duomo, 1 minute to great produce market; to cook own meals (try the fresh pasta made at the markets). Great apartments, well fitted out and free wi-fi. The reception is not always manned so they ask you in advance for an arrival time; otherwise you may find a locked building. Receptionist very friendly & helpful, giving us maps & suggestions for sightseeing, supermarkets & restaurants. Great roof terrace overlook.
all reviews » Very well located, spacious, very clean. Possibility to cook our own food with the food market 2 steps away. The balcony was an amazing place to finish the bottle of wine after dinner. There was also a supermarket close by to get more basic food and drinks. Absolutely everything in Florence is walking distance from this apartment, the train station is 5 minutes away and it's close enough to the main attractions to come back for dinner and then go back out to spend the evening. My family stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment for 4 nights and everything was great! The apartment was well equipped, very clean and comfortable. It is in the middle of the San Lorenzo market and an easy walk to the main sites of the city. If you are not used to the bustle of city life you might want to bring ear plugs as the street cleaners are out late (12 am) and the market vendors are up early (6 am) setting up their stalls. Apartment was very well appointed in an excellent location. Opposite the Mercarto Centrale and the San Lorenzo markets it was an ideal location to experience everyday life in Florence. In walking distance to station and Duomo and other major attractions. We wandered around this beautiful city and didn't really require any tours to discover its beauty. We will return and definitely ask for apartment 33. We had a great stay at Residence La Medicea. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooftop terrace was wonderful! We stayed here to celebrate our five year anniversary and the owner gave us a great bottle of wine, which we enjoyed on the terrace. It was a central location only a couple blocks from the Duomo and across the street from the Medici chapel. We would definitely stay here again. Our stay here was brilliant. I'd definitely go back in a heart beat. The location was fab as you are in the middle of everything. And best of all there is a roof terrace ideal for sunbathing and having a glass of bubbly. We even ate dinner most nights up there too. The staff are lovely and very welcoming aa we had a last minute booking. I felt safe and itd spotless. Stay here!!. Old world charm with modern conveniences, very reasonable laundromat on premise with wonderful 5th floor terrace that looked out on the outdoor markets. Within easy walking distance of all major attractions. Do not try to take a taxi to it as it is in a pedestrian area only 4 blocks from train station. It has been the highlight of our trip so far. The apartment was very big. Location was super, literally next door from Medici chapel, five minutes Duomo. Great view from private balcony shared between all the apartments. Washer and dryer on site. Grocery store nearby. Market has great prices, especially leather goods, All the workers are very friendly and not pushy. Eva the receptionist very nice went out of her way to inform us of local tourist opportunities. Location in center of historic zone near SanLorenzo market and within easy walking distance of historic Florence was ideal. Apartment very clean and nice. The apartments have plenty of room. There is an elevator most important with heavy bags. Very clean and safe. Plenty of places to eat close by. A little hard to find just get directions before you leave. Location is great. This hotel is situated in the heart of Florence. Close to the train station, shopping and dining. We stayed in a studio apartment which has a full kitchen and private bathroom. We were very happy with our choice. terrific location, spacious bright apartment, shared laundry room, elevator, the view, kitchen with gas cooktop fridge microwave was fantastic especially having the amazing fresh food markets across the street. The location is fabulous, right in the centre of town with views of the cathedral dome opposite, from the terrace. The location is central, but the street is used by the leather market, whose stalls are broken down and set up every day. Set up begins around 6am and it is difficult to sleep after that, as it is so noisy. The apartment is spacious and complete with kitchen and the wifi works great. Roof deck is very nice. The location was excellent, right in the thick of the market, near the Mercado Centrale and close walking distance to all the sights. -Location. I just wish someone would come back during the stay not to make the bed like in a hotel, but just to bring new towels and toilet paper... and I think we souldn't have to go out and buy soap for washing the dishes, it should be provided... it's only 1$. The kitchen had very little counter space. Apartment could use more furniture, a couch or several chairs. Need to buy soap, conditioner, shampoo, may have to buy toilet paper and paper towels. Only one small thing the rooms next to the street a very noisy, but the location makes up for this. bathroom in the studio apartment was cramped and badly laid out but fittings were new and clean. the shower was a shower head and a curtain in the middle of the room. daily floodings but all part of the fun of travelling. good apartment overall. Would have been nice to have a sort chair in the room but not a big deal. There was some noise from the street below, however, the window keeps most of the noise out as long as it is shut firmly. The air conditoning keeps it comfortable at night. - There is no parking lot near you will pay at least 26 Euros per day. Can't make twin beds and the sofa bed is horrible to sleep on. Over looking market which in some ways added to ambiance but was also very noisy at night early hours of morning. The towels were wierd , like a table clothe. Air conditioning knocked off every night and the room was too hot to sleep. also market traders began to set up on the streets below at 6am.. very noisy!. The outside leaves a lot to be desired but once the door opens you are pleasantly surprised. Check-in only lasts for a few hours each evening (however if you contact the staff, they will likely make an exception for you). dont stay there if you dont like being woken at 7.00 am while they erect markets seven days a week. we didnt care. Apt was a bit gloomy. Photos look cheerier than reality. Bedding and linens were minimalistic. A bit noisy at night due to street vendors and cleaning activities. A bit of a walk to major tourist attractions. No concierge for advice on restaurants etc. or bag drop as it's not a hotel. Some confusion over type of apt booked, so be sure to send an email to agent confirming your apt. Size/name and have it with you. The great deal of noise from the people setting up the market, starting from 4.30am really stopped us from getting any sleep!. -No posibility to cook!! (No Gas) -loud repairs during 2 days!!! -Tv - only in Italian language -no wlan on 1st day because of wrong info given by staff -air conditioning?? - not found! -No soap and shampoo -very loud neighbors in the nights. position limited arrival time self catering not suitable for us-booking this was a misjudgement by us.
